The WheelKings were slow to get their offence going against Dandenong this afternoon at Auburn Basketball Centre. However, they dominated the second half to win comfortably 86-62 and guarantee themselves a spot in the 2009 NWBL Finals.

The Rollers are 2-0 against Canada and Japan in the World Challenge at the State Sports Centre in Sydney. They face a tough Great Britain side tonight as they look to guarantee their place in the Gold medal game tomorrow.

Beijing Paralympic gold medallists Australia take on silver medallists Canada, bronze medallists Great Britain and 5th-placed Japan this week. And WheelKings Bill Latham and Jeremy Doyle will be in the green and gold, and Jon Pollock will suit up for Great Britain.

Jonathon Simon continued his outstanding season as the WheelKings scored a 73-51 win in their second game of the weekend against Adelaide Thunder. Wenty now have a 5-1 record and hold equal second spot on the ladder.
