U16’s Weekly Report from Aidan Saggers
What a great finals game from our boys on the weekend against Newcastle City.
Bay Dockers got the early jump on Newcastle and continued the pressure though out the whole game, with a never give in attitude.
Jacob Cerniauskas lead up forward and proved to be a great focal point for the team all game. he played a wonderful game for his team and proved a head ache for the opposition.
Nick Szeszeran and Darcy Lemmich providing class and brilliance dominating the opposition and tearing them apart.
Big Thomas Van Koeverden played a gutsy game up forward carrying an injury ,but battled on all day like a true champ.
Lauchlan Deverell played a great Captains game ,and lead his charges thru the battle fields to victory, proving once again to be the best player in the competition.
Tas Saggers played like a war horse thru out the entire game in the ruck, relentlessly sacrificing his body through out the entire game and now becoming a great player for us.
Same goes for Harrison Welsh who consistently puts himself in,week in and week out without fear playing like a little terrior .Great stuff Harrison The backline stood up to the pressure lead by Keiran Teuma and Rick Schrader across half back both playing a fantastic games and dominating the back line.
The likes of Blade Wright,Byron Lovell ,Daniel Hensen and Brandon Laws seemed to always be there when we needed them, all applying the pressure when appropriate and providing the drive down to our forwards.
Harry Thurlby played a great game across the middle displaying both attacking and defensive moves.
Damon Jasinki was gladly welcomed back into the mix and stood tall and rock solid all day down at full back giving his opponent nothing.
Joey Ferguson played a great game in the back pocket ,gave it 100% ,in which was his 2nd game for the day. Alex Schaler-Loomes also played his 2nd game for the day and still provided brilliance up forward for us.
Well done to Alex and Joey!
Zac Holt provided fresh legs thru out the game and almost scored, keep it up Zac Holt! You'll get there mate.
and then there was Rhys Bower.....2 goals and plenty of entertainment for the folks!
Great to see him step up at the right time when it counts. Welcome aboard buddy and keep it up for next week.
The Bay Dockers played the best team game I have seen from them all year in which will provide a great lead into the next bout with Cardiff next week..
Well done to the parents and friends of our boys who gave us all the support on the day ,it was much appreciated .
So let's all get the job done next week

U14’s Weekly Report from Jason Watt
Mothers day was upon us and it turned out to be a sunny but windy day. Conditions were difficult but the under 14 Bulldogs managed to play some good footy by leading hard and controlling the game whilst in possession of the ball. By the time the final siren rang, we were comfortable winners and credit goes out to Nelson Bay for never giving up.
Riley and Lucas deserve a special mention for they did what they were asked and well done to all the boys who showed good spirit by playing a quarter for Nelson Bay.
We are very proud of our great bunch of young blokes!!

U12’s Weekly Report from Adam Scheeweiss
The score board in todays under 12s game may have shown a big loss to our boys but that was not the way i saw the game. Our boys never gave up showing an awesome amount of courage and determination against a very experianced Cardiff side, and as each week goes by the boys are improving out of sight.Goal scorers today were Cooper Garrett , Lachlan Gibson and Sam Taylor all one a piece but special mention must go to all the boys out there today who showed not just the doggie supporters but also the Cardiff supporters that the next time we meet the score board will be alot different. Well done boys
U14’s Weekly Report from Jason Watt
After a terrific night at training on Thursday Shayne, Scott and I could tell the boys were pumped to play Cardiff at Hillsborough.
The game started as we expected with great skills shown by both teams and Cardiff got an early jump on us. To our credit we battled on and for most of the game we were only a few goals behind. Cardiffs lack of discipline and respect was there for all to see which fired us up but unfortunately we went down only on the score board.
All 20 Warners Bay boys were outstanding but special mentions go out to Jackson, Joey and Alex for their efforts. Shayne, Scott and I are extremely proud of our boys.
Go the Doggies!!!

U10’s Weekly Report from Wally Garrett & Adam Scheeweiss
Round 2 Vs Maitland at The Dog Pound
Warners Bay under 10’s played our first home game at Feighan Park using the new ground & all it has to offer. Our experienced boys did a great job again, getting the ball & looking for our new boys ensuring it was a real team effort hand balling when it was tight & kicking long when the opportunity presented itself. I would like to make mention to Cooper Garrett, Jed Schneeweiss, Heath Turner, Fynn Maggs & Jaden Macpherson all for playing outstanding football at all levels but our man of the match again this week was another first gamer Toby Morris making the transition from Auskick to U10’s look easy. I hope to see you all there at Hillsborough Oval (Cardiff’s Home Ground) next week & that the boys continue to develop their skills, grow in confidence but most importantly smile & have fun.
Under 12's Weekly Report from Gary Ryan
Round 2 Vs Maitland
After overcoming first game jitters the boys turned up for the 2nd game of the year full of enthusiasm and put on fantastic display for all their supporters. The weather was absolutely wild in the 2nd half of the game but this appeared to only spur on the boys as they came home with a very wet sail and were very unlucky to be pipped by just 4 points at the final siren. Congratulations to all the boys for such a terrific effort with special mention to all the first year players who continue to improve at such a rapid rate. Man of the Match this week was Ryan Mink for his bustling runs in the back-line and clever use of the ball.
Good Luck to all the boys next week.

From the U/14's Coach:
After a number of weeks training and preparing for the 2012 season, the under 14 Bulldogs turned up bright and early for their round one clash. The boys were determined to play well, and that they did!! With the on-ballers dominating the centre bounces early in the game, and the forwards kicking accurately, we managed to get on top of Wallsend and run out convincing winners.
Congratulations to all players for an outstanding game!!!
From U/10's Coaches:Wally Garrett & Adam Scheeweiss
Warners Bay under 10’s had a great start to the new year of football yesterday at Tulkaba Park, Teralba. We have a great mix of our experienced boys from last year and our first timers that played some awesome football in the spirit that it should be played, all sharing the ball around and ensuring it was a real team effort. I would like to make special mention to our man of the match first gamer Luke Richens, who tried so hard all day & got in & got the ball every chance he had. I hope to see you all there at home next week & that the boys continue to develop their skills, grow in confidence but most importantly smile & have fun.
