Website layout changes

Wednesday, 1st April, 2009
You may have noticed in the last week that SportingPulse has applied a different look to our website. Unfortunately, the right column has been widened to allow for large advertisements and this has caused a number of issues. Tables and charts may be unreadable as the centre column is now squashed. The narrower centre column has meant that photos and graphics have been reduced from a maximum of 500 pixels squared to a barely acceptable 300 pixels. Annoyingly, in the process of downsizing the pictures, all the captions have been lost. Thumbnails on news items have also been reduced in size which means they may look a bit odd (heads chopped off, etc).

I am presently trying to find suitable workarounds to these problems and, over the next few weeks, I'll go through the process of fixing up the thumbnails and redoing the photo captions.
