Dance Party Goes Off

A small but enthusiastic crowd, including the usual suspects from the WheelKings, busted plenty of moves at last night's Mid-Year Bash.
MC Gerry was there to assist DJ Troy T, and Kylie and Craig presented the prizes. The UWS Hospitality Management students who organised the dance party worked really hard to promote and set up the event and, with around $1,000 in ticket sales, raised some much-needed funds for the WheelKings.
Thanks goes to Wenty Leagues for providing the Starlight Room and sound and lighting technicians. Marketing GM Greg Bygraves and Functions Manager Robyn Colantonio and their teams deserve special mention for their assistance.
Lastly, the WheelKings would like to thank the 6 students involved - Alveen Prasad, Parveen Prasad, Huawei Cao (Melvin), Tung Yuen Cheung (Annie), Yuan Xue Jiao (Angela) and Xuanhou Chen (Ziegler). We hope that they do very well in the university's assessment of their project and we wish them all the best for their future studies.
