Northern and South Coast win state championship

The 16 to 18 years state championship has finished with victories to the Northern girls' team and the South Coast boys' team.more

16 to 18 Years Championship: TOWNSVILLE - May 12 to 15

The 2016 16 to 18 years state championship will be held at the Townsville Basketball Stadium in the Northern Region from Thursday May 12 until Sunday May 15. Full results available on the Fixtures/Results page.

At this championship, state boys' and girls' teams will be chosen to compete in the School Sport Australian national championship being held in Gosford NSW from August 6 to 12 2016.more

13 to 15 years Championship: RUNAWAY BAY - August 4 to 7

The 2016 13 to 15 years state championship will be held at the Runaway Bay Basketball Centre in the South Coast region. The dates of the championship are Thursday August 4 to Sunday August 7.

Aust school teams to tour USA and Hawaii in 2016.

School Sport Australia has approved that Australian schoolboys' and Australian Schoolgirls' teams will tour to the USA and Hawaii late in 2016. The teams, consisting of 10 players, will be selected at the 2016 School Sport Australia National Championship. Players selected will be invited to tour to USA and Hawaii from November 28 to December 16.more
