Gem Pier
Gem Pier is the perfect starting point for exploring early Victoria’s maritime history or many of Williamstown’s and Port Phillip's contemporary attractions.
The HMAS Castlemaine is permanently docked at Gem Pier. This minesweeper was launched in 1941 and saw active service in New Guinea and Northern Australia during WWII.

Hobsons Bay Bike Trails
Explore 23 kilometres of foreshore trail from Spotswood to Altona. Featured on the trail are public artworks and markers with interpretive panels to bring the local environment and history to life. Along the trail marvel at past champions racing at the former racecourse, look out for Seaborn at Altona Beach or take in the glorious view from the Time Beacon at Truganina Park.

The regional farmers market is held on Sunday 15 and 29 November, from 9 am to 2 pm. There Williamstown craft market will be held at the Commonwealth reserve on 22 November from 10 am to 4 pm. The Williamstown Bluestone Church market, at Holy Trinity Church, Nelson Place, Wiliamstown is on Sunday 6 December, from 12pm to 5 pm.
