Under 10  Magic League

 

Under 10 basketball is played all year round at the Millicent stadium. There are 2 separate seasons over the year. The first season runs over the first two terms of the school year, and the second season over terms 3 and 4. Under 10 junior basketballers, both boys and girls can start playing at 7 years of age. Under 10s is played on Tuesday nights at the Millicent stadium.

The main focus for players in this league is learning ball handling skills, participation and enjoyment.The format of under 10s is a half hour of skills training, where all players train together, followed by a half hour game situation. Under 10 games are played with lowered rings, size 5 basketballs, and modified rules.

Registration forms are available online (approximately 3 weeks before the new season commences). The link can be found of this website. Once registration is received, players will be allocated to a team. Under 10 uniforms are supplied by the Millicent Association. Players are responsible for the uniform during the season and need to return it after the last night of play.
