COMPETITION INFORMATION
The GSABA originally had teams nominate in each division or age group. The Summer Season 1997-98 was the first season that Clubs operated in the GSABA. The current five Clubs Goolwa Magic, Lakers, Pistons, Saints and Wildcat Celtics have been in existence since 1997-98.
It started with Mens Division 1 & 2, Womens Division 1, 2 & 3 in the Senior Competition. The Junior Competition was made up of U14 & U16 Boys and Girls Competitions.
The Men's Division 3 competition started in Winter Season 1998.
The Men's & Women's Division 4 Competition was introduced in the Winter Season 2005.
The Under 12 Boys and Girls was not played for premiership points between Summer 1997-98 and Summer 2002-03
The Men's Under 21 Competition started in Summer 2008-09. Has not been held every season since.
The Women's Under 21 Competition started in Summer 2012-13. Has not been held every season since.
