The GSABA plan to run the SA Country Community Athlete Development Program (CADP) starting in Term 2. The CADP is an SA Country Basketball fundamental skills development program, aimed at up skilling athletes who are looking for extra development opportunities outside of their normal club training and playing schedules.

 

 

If you are an U12 player who is looking for development opportunities to enable you to become a better basketball player and reach your potential, we invite you to apply.

What to expect:

• Athletes will attend weekly 1-hour sessions for the entire term
• Athletes will need to pay a $80 registration fee covering term 2 & 3

Player Criteria:

• Must be U12
• Male or females can apply
• Must be able to commit to program for entire term
• Must be registered and playing with association affiliated with SA Country Basketball.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR COACHES

SA Country Basketball are providing a unique development opportunity for coaches looking at improving and working on their craft.

Coaches are offered a workshop, personal development plans and monthly webinars with SA Country Development staff, and opportunities for pathway to high performance and accreditation opportunities.

What to expect:

• Development and coaching from SA Country basketball
• 90-minute interactive workshop based around intangibles of coaching, personal development, presentation skills, curriculum and leadership
• Monthly online development touch points with SA Country
• Coaches are to organise attend and coach a 1-hour C.A.D.P training session per week for the entire term
• Remuneration for each session

Coach Criteria

• 1 or more years of coaching experience
• Must be able to commit to program for entire term
• Affiliated association must be running a C.A.D.P program.
• DCSI clearance
