Westgate Rep Ready Program 2017

The Westgate Rep Ready Program is a development program designed for 9 – 14 year olds who have an interest in working on their skills and understanding of the game under the instruction of an experienced and qualified development coach- Kalon McGhie, Westgate Basketball Association Assistant to our Director of Coaching.

Ideal for local enthusiastic domestic competition players, looking to learn and improve. This program would also provide a preparation framework for players preparing for the upcoming Imperials Tryouts in October.

The program will run over 6 x 60-minute sessions and will incorporate:

• Offensive fundamentals
• Shooting technique
• Defensive fundamentals
• Introduction to principles of play

COST: $55 per player (for 6 sessions)

SESSION CONDUCTED: Sundays

1:00pm – 2:00pm for 9 to 11 year olds (this session is now full)  &

2.00pm - 3.00pm for 12 to 14 year olds.

Commencing weekly August 6th through to September 10^th, 2017, at Vic Uni Community Sports Stadium – Whitten Oval.

Open to: boys & girls 9 -14 years of age, playing in the domestic basketball competition run by Westgate Basketball Association at VU Community Sports Stadium – Whitten Oval.

Completion of the Rep Ready program is neither a prerequisite nor a guarantee of an Imperials representative placement.

Numbers will be limited to: 25 participants per session, so ensure you get in early.
