North Central Football League 2016 season

The new look North Central Football League kicks off their eight team competition on April 16th 2016. The North Central has Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers Football Netball club join the league. The Tigers previously played in the now disband Mallee Football League. Clubs will play sixteen games and has two byes rostered throughout the season.
Boort are the only club yet to announce their senior coach.more

Preliminary Final Review

The Saints have bounced back from their loss to Charlton in the 2nd Semi with a strong win over Donald, and have earned the right to a rematch with the Navies, for the Halfhide cup next week.
St Arnaud also got their reserves side into the Grand FInal against the Demons.
Birchip/Watchem were too good fo the saints, and will Challenge Wedderburn for the title. Boort play the Bulls in the U13'smore

Second Semi Review

St Arnaud and Charlton staged an interesting first half in their game at Wycheproof where only four points separated the two sides at the half way mark. From half time onwards it was the Navy Blues from Charlton who dominated the game to run out comfortable winners and book a spot in their third grand final in as many years.more

First Semi Final Review

Donald advance through to the NCFL Preliminary Final with a four point win over Birchip-Watchem at Lord Nelson Park St Arnaud.
Donald has also qualified their reserves and under thirteens teams through to the preliminary finals at Wycheproof in two weeks’ time.
The Bulls defeated Charlton in the U16's to keep alive their chances of taking out the Jeff Guild Shieldmore

Another week brings more changes to the Ladder. The Saints have retained their 1 game buffer at the top, and have a handy percentage over Charlton, who have moved back into 2nd spot, Donald have dropped to 4th, and the Bulls have moved up to 3rd spot. Wyche/Narraport move down to 5th, however have a superior Percentage to those above them.more

Another Round, another change in the ladder. Donald’s win put them up to 4th, while the Bulls loss saw them drop to 3rd. Charlton rose to 2nd spot after their victory against the Demons, who dropped to 5th. St Arnaud’s victory over Boort saw them remain 2 games clear.
This is a magnificent year of football in the NCFL. There are 6 teams in contention for the flag, and any one of them can do it.more

Round 10 Review

Round 10 again produced some very even games, with the Saints too strong for the Bulls, winners by 21 points. Charlton's 21 point win over the Donald sees the Navies return to the top 4, with Donald dropping to 5th. At Boort, the home side certainly gave the Redbacks a huge scare, however with a margin of just 5 points at 3qt, Wedderburn settled, and put on 5 goals to 1 in the final quarter.more

Round 9 Review

Round nine produced three fairly even contests with the biggest being Saints 31 point win over Charlton. This keeps the Saints with a hold on top spot, with Charlton dropping out of the top four. The Redbacks suffered another defeat to the Bulls, this time by 23-points. The Bulls win sees them retain second place on the ladder. The Demons march towards finals continued with a victory over Donald.more

Round 7 Review

Round seven completed our first round in North Central Football, St Arnaud sit on top of the ladder with only one defeat after defeating the improving Donald side. Charlton has now taken over second spot with a big win over Boort and in the other game Wycheproof-Narraport made it three in a row when they defeated the Wedderburn Redbacks and now just sit outside the top four by percentage.more

Magpie Legends return to the nest for Legends Game

The Boort Legends Game is an annual event which brings together past players, family and friends from the Boort community for a fun and entertaining Aussie Rules football match. This initiative is designed to also raise money for the local Boort Hospital and promote positive and mental health. This annual event reunites the legendary retired champions of the Boort Football Club.more

Wycheproof-Narraport 50 Year Celebrations

Wycheproof and Narraport Football Clubs will conduct fifty year celebrations of the two clubs amalgamation in 1964.
The celebrations will run from 6th June through to the 8th June 2014 and anyone wishing to gain further details can go to
