MENS DIVISION 1

ROUND 1 -WB 28.04.2014

Lakers '1' 69 d Lakers '2' 53

Lakers '1' in a free flowing affair were able to account for Lakers '2' by 16 points. Lakers '1's tall were able to control the boards and overall had cleaner finishes.

Matt Heayside was up and about from the get-go and he was Lakers '1' best producing a 23 point haul. Shane Hastings in sure and methodical way worked the low post well and collected 18 points. Boyd Fitton played well from the point. 

Lakers '3' Eli Horrocks played with purpose and he scored off good drives mainly and he was their best with a 17 point collect. Todd Seymour played a good outside game and posted 13 points. David Moffet battled manfully on the boards.

ROUND 2 -WB 5.05.2014

Magic 47 d Lakers '2' 40

Magic won the first three quarters and then held out Lakers '2' and recorded a good 7 point win.

Magic's best was Tom Fergusson who used his pace well and was strong and positive in offence and posted a game-high 18 points. Neil Silvestri was in good form and hit 13 points. Cameron Pearce looked after the ball well and finished with 10 points. Ryan Fox made a good contribution and hit 4 points.

Lakers Eli Horrocks played a rock solid match and top scored with 13 points. David Moffett did the bulk of the work on the boards and posted 10 points. Matt Zimmerann played a honest match and finished with 5 points. Paul Loughead defended well and passed well.

Saints 47 d Pistons 44

In a hard fought contest where the scores were close all night Saints posted a 3 point victory over an improved Pistons outfit. 

Saints Joel Lomman was in excellent touch and posted a top score of 20 points. Alex Haynes played well, defended well and posted 12 points. Mitchell Kelton was a good user of the ball and he finished with 9 points. Sam Dunbar posted 4 points.

Pistons Ben Kelly played very well and posted a game-high 21 points. Alex Schumann played some decent ball and hit 11 points. Zac Bazzacco played a consistent match and scored 7 points. Alex Horrocks made good decisions with the ball.

Lakers '1' 54 d Wildcats 38

Wildcats led at quarter time but Lakers '1' slipped into top gear with a 17 -8 second term and then finished with a 13-7 last term and secured a good 16 point victory over reigning premier Wildcats.

Matt Heavyside lifted after quarter-time and he played strong purposeful basketball and led the way with a game-high 19 point collect. Shane Hastings did well on the boards and posted 12 points. Boyd Fitton played a good passing game and hit 9 points. Martin Gladwin played well in the paint, defending hard, rebounding well and he posted 9 points.

Wildcats players dropped in and out of the game. Ben Stock and Matt Stock both played servicable games and top scored with 10 points apiece.

ROUND 3 -WB 12.05.2014

Magic 50 d Wildcats 34

Magic led at every break and finished strongly with a 13 -4 point final term and ran out 16 point winners.

Magic's Neil Silvestri played well from the point and posted a game-high 22 points. Tom Fergusson did well on the boards and was active in offence posting 18 points. Ty Chesser 6 points and Cameron Pearce 4 points looked after the ball well and defended well.

Matt Stock top scored with 12 points posting 8 of those in the first term. Ben Stock produced some good moves in his 10 point collect. Richard Scott did the bulk of the work on the boards. Daniel Stock had his moments and hit 7 points.

Lakers '3' 55 d Lakers '2' 49

After a even first half, Lakers '3' had the better of the second half and ran out 6 points.

Lakers '3' Tom Pinyon played a key role in the victory posting a game-high 26 points. Matt Wiese played very well and made good decisions with the ball and hit 7 points. Ryan Fletcher was a solid contributor and hit 7 points.

Lakers '2' Eli Horrocks played with purpose and posted a top score of 17 points. Matt Zimmermann played consistently and hit 10 points. David Moffett rebounded well and posted 8 points.

Lakers '1' 66 d Saints 28

Lakers '1' won all four quarters but powered away in the second half posting 45 points to 18 and ran out 38 point winners. Lakers controlled the boards and defended their basket strongly.

In a very even team performance, Shane Hastings played well in the paint and posted a game-high 18 points. Martin Gladwin played well, rebounded strongly and posted 14 points. Matt Heavyside played his usual consistent match and hit 12 points. Boyd Fitton 8 points, Matt Parker 6 points and Tom Hasting 6 points all played their roles well.

Saints struggled to impact on the game and Alex Haynes and Sam Dunbar top scored with 6 points.

ROUND 4 - WB 19.05.2014

Lakers '3' 66 d Magic 61

Magic led the majority of the game but were overran late in the game by Lakers '3' who recorded  a good 6 point win.

Tom Pinyon started slowly but played a big last quarter where he posted 15 of his 25 points and steered Lakers to victory. Patrick Jonczyk played consisitently throughout and posted 16 points. Matt Wiese played an important role from the point and chipped in with 5 points. Ryan Fletcher played assertively and posted 12 points.

Magic's Neil Silvestri played a very good match pocketing 24 points. Tom Fergusson was in top form and posted 18 points. Ty Chesser played well on the low post and hit 8 points. Cameron Pearce played a solid game and finished with 5 points.

Lakers '1' 52 d Pistons 27

Lakers '1' got away to a great start and posted a 15 - 0 first term. Pistons won the second term but Lakers won the lsat two quarters and posted a 25 point win.

Shane Hastings good form continued and he posted a game-high 17 points. Matt Heavyside played strong attacking basketball and he hit 16 points. Martin Gladwin played a strong rebounding and defensive game and he posted 13 points. Boyd Fitton controlled the point.

Pistons were outclassed, Luke Reynolds top scored with 6 points. Ben Kelly rebounded well and ht 4 points. Alex Horrocks worked hard and finished with 5 points.

Wildcats 70 d Lakers '2' 47

The first half was a competititve affair but Wildcats cruised to victory posting a sound 23 point win over Lakers '2'.

Wildcats Matt Stock used the effectively and shot well posting a top score of 20 points. Ben Stock rebounded well and hit some nice jump shots in his 19 points. Max Scott played his role and he hit 13 points. Richard Scott defended strongly and posted 8 points. Tim Blair finished with 6 points.

Lakers Eli Horrocks played with strong work ethic and he posted a game-high 23 points. David Moffett grabbed many boards and he hit 10 points. Matt Zimmermann play a honest match and posted 9 points. Paul Loughhead controlled the ball down the floor and produce some good assists.

ROUND 5- WB 26.05.2014

Saints 58 d Wildcats 52

Saints after trailing by 13 points early in the game won the last three quarters and finished 6 points in front at the final siren.

Harry Sherrah had a very good match and posted a game-high 20 points which included 4 three pointers. Adam Low was in fine form and made good decisions with the ball and posted 19 points. Alexander Haynes play well and with a high work rate and finished with 7 points. Joel Lomman defended well, used the ball well and posted 6 points. Sam Dunbar finished with 6 points.

Wildcats Matt Stock top scored and he played a strong first half where he posted 15 of his 17 points. Daniel Stock pushed the ball quickly down the floor and he posted 12 points. Max Scott played a more than servicable game and hit 10 points. Richard Scott worked hard on the boards and finished with 8 points.

Lakers '3' 65 d Pistons 33

Lakers '3' led by 5 points at the half-time in a competitive contest but they came out flying in the third term and blitzed Pistons with a 24 point to 2 quarter. Lakers finally won by 32 points.

Lakers Tom Pinyon after a slow start produced a dominant performance knocking down a game-high 28 points. Matt Wiese used the effectively, broke the lines and posted 19 points. Patrick Jonczyk rebounded well and posted 14 points. Bradley Borrillo defended strongly and posted 4 points.

Pistons Zac Bazzacco played a consistent match and he posted a top score of 11 points. Dylan Mason was a good contributor and hit 10 points. Alex Schumann and Anthony Rowland played honest games and scored 4 points each.

Lakers '1' 59 d Magic 36

Lakers '1' controlled the game after winning the first term 18 points to 9 and ran out comfortable 23 point winners.

Lakers Matt Heavyside played with speed and precision and he led the scoring with a game-high 21 points. Martin Gladwin worked hard defensively grabbed many rebounds and posted 12 points. Shane Hastings played a solid match and finished with 9 points. Sam Simmons posted 6 points.

Magic's Neil Silvestri played well and top scored with 16 points. Tom Fergusson impact on the game was lower than usual but he finished with 8 points. Cameron Pearce scored 7 points.

ROUND 6 -WB 2.06.2014

Wildcats 54 d Pistons 48

In a close encounter an improved Pistons outfit finished 6 points shy of Wildcats.

Wildcats were a little cleaner with their ball use and made better decisions during the match. Max Scott played a strong match on the boards and top scored with 13 points. Tim Blair worked hard defensively and posted 8 points.

Pistons Ben Kelly played with strong intent rebounding well and he posted a game-high 14 points. A.Schumann played consistently throughout and hit 11 points. Z.Bazzacco played a rock solid game and posted 11 points.

ROUND 7 - WB 9.06.2014

Lakers '2' 52 d Pistons 45

Lakers '2' found some winning form posting a solid 7 point victory over a competitive Pistons team.

Lakers Todd Seymour played in a decisive manner and played well to post 16 points. Rob Reichmann controlled the boards and was potent from the low post hitting 16 points. David Moffett worked hard, collected strong boards and finished with 10 points. Michael Britton played a honest match and hit 6 points. Eli Horrocks played some useful ball and hit 4 points.

Pistons Zac Bazzacco played a good match and he posted a top score of 14 points. Dylan Mason was in good touch and finished with 11 points. Alex Schumann collected his shared of the boards and he posted 9 points. Alex Horrocks set up and passed well

Lakers '3' 65 d Wildcats 55

Lakers '3' ran over the top of Wildcats in the second half after trailing by 13 points midway through the second term and posted a good 10 victory.

Tom Pinyon was Lakers best, playing a more inside game he posted a game-high 28 points. Matt Wiese controlled the ball well from the point and his speed down the court in the second half split Wildcats defence and he hit 11 points. Patrick Jonczyk played an important role rebounding well and chipping in with 10 points. Ryan Fletcher 5 points and Mitch Davis 4 points were useful contributors.

Wildcats Matt Stock was on fire in the first half where he posted 18 of his 21 points. Max Scott played four consistent quarters and scored 14 points. Daniel Stock played his role well and he finished with 8 points. Richard Scott defended well and collected many boards.

Saints 45 d Magic 39

Saints won the first three quarters before Magic challenged late in the game but Saints steadied in the closing stages and recorded a solid 6 point win.

Saints applied strong defensive pressure and had three players in foul trouble late in game but its up tempo game seemed to unsettle Magic. Saints Alex Haynes played with stong work ethic and he posted a tip score of 13 points. Adam Low collected his share of the boards and hit some nice jump shots and finished with 11 points. Sam Dunbar played well and hit some nice short range shots and he finished with 12 points. Joel Lomman made good decisions with the ball and he defended well.

Magic's Tom Fergusson was up and about and he kept them in the contest with a 22 point haul. Neil Silvestri played a rock solid game from the point and he posted 10 points.  Cameron Pearce did some useful things in a patchy performance and finished with 5 points.

ROUND 8 - WB 16.06.2014

Saints 57 d Lakers '3' 52

In a high standard encounter Saints overcame a 5 point half time deficit to record a 5 point win when the siren sounded. Both teams ran the ball down the floor quickly.

Saints Joel Lomman played a fine match and he posted a top score of 16 points. Alexander Haynes played with good intensity in defence and he finished with 12 points. Mitchell Kelton attacked the basket , used the ball well and he hit 12 points. Harry Sherrah played a strong second half and posted 9 points. Adam Low 6 points and Matt Dunbar did good jobs on the boards.

Lakers Tom Pinyon had an excellent match, he rebounded well and posted a game-high 29 points. Patrick Jonczyk played a consistent match and he scored 12 points. Matt Wiese played his role well and he produced some fine assists. Mitch Davis played a solid game and he posted 8 points.

Lakers '1' 70 d Lakers '2' 28

Lakers '1' continue on their winning way making short work of Lakers '2'  posting a 42 point win.

Matt Heavyside lead the charge with a skilful 26 point haul. Shane Hastings mop up alot of boards and posted 15 points. Boyd Fitton controlled the ball well and finished with 11 points. Matt Parker was a good user of the ball and hit 8 points. Eddie Gladwin defended strongly and rebounded well. Tom Hastings was more tham useful and posted 7 points.

Lakers '2' Rob Reichmann battled manfully on the boards and he top scored with 10 points. Eli Horrocks was a honest peformer and he also top scored with 10 points.

Magic 45 d Pistons 40

Magic split the game open with a 18-6 second term, they lost the second half 26-16 but held on for a 5 point win.

Magic's Tom Fegusson in strong, determined and skilful performance posted a game-high 22 points. Neil Silvestri produced some fine assists and he played very well hitting 18 points. Chris Jurek played a solid game and chipped in with 4 points.

Pistons Ben Kelly collected strong boards and he played well posting 14 points. Zac Bazzacco played effectively and posted 11 points. Alex Shumann rebounded well and posted 4 points.

ROUND 9- WB 23.06.2014

Magic 60 d Lakers '2' 38

Magic got away to an early lead and were in a commanding position at quarter time leading 17 points to 4. Magic won the third term but Magic were too good winning by 22 points.

Magic;s Tom Fergusson split the defence with his pace and he hit good short range jumpers and many lay-ups in his 26 point hau. Neil Silvestri was in great touch and he played vey well posting 21 points. Frazer Hayward rebounded well and finished well and hit 13 points. Brock Knott rebounded strongly and and he posted 9 points.

Lakers form was patchy. Eli Horrocks played a consistent match and posted 11 points. Rob Reichmann collected his share of the boards and he posted 10 points. David Moffett competed strongly and he finished with 7 points.

Lakers '1' 57 d Wildcats 54

Lakers at quarter time lead by 9 points. Wildcats played some very good basketball winnning the next two terms and they lead by 3 at the main change. Lakers rallied with a 23 point to 17 final term and they secured the two premiership points.

Lakers Matt Heavyside played very well posting a game-high 20 points. Martin Gladwin collected many boards, defended hard and hit 15 points. Shane Hastings played his usual consistent match and posted 11 points. Boyd Fitton played well from the point.

Wildcats Matt Stock was in good touch posting 5 three pointers in his top score of 18 points. Ben Stock worked hard inside the paint and collected strong boards and he finished with 12 points. Tim Blair played a honest match and finished with 7 points.

Pistons 61 d Saints 43

Pistons started well and lead by 3 points at the first break. They extended their lead to 8 by half-time. Saints won the third term and were with in four points. Pistons dominated the final term hitting 23 points to 9 and ran out 18 point winners.

Pistons Ben Kelly jumped hard at the boards and was a constant threat in offence hitting a game-high 24 points. Alex Horrocks controlled the ball well from the point, he passed well and hit 11 points. Dylan Mason played effectively and he posted 10 points. Alex Schumann defended and rebounded well and chipped in with 7 points.

Saints struggled to find rythm in offence, Joel Lomman was a good contributor top scoring with 11 points. Adam Low was in and out of the game and he finished with 10 points. Harry Sherrah 7 points and Alex Haynes 5 points had their moments but the whole team lacked the consistency they have shown all season.

ROUND 10 -WB 21.07.2014

Lakers '3' 72 d Magic 71

In high class fast tempo game Lakers '3' secured victory with a one point win over Magic.

Lakers Tom Pinyon played 4 strong quarters, collecting boards and mixing a good inside outside game in offence and he finished with a game-high 30 points. Matt Wiese played the point very well and set up many scores and he posted 11 points. Patrick Jonczyk played a good alround game, rebounding well and posting 16 points. Ryan Fletcher played a honest match and hit 7 points.

Magic's Neil Silvestri played an excellent match and he made good decisions with the ball and posted a top score of 29 points. Tom Fergusson was a constant threat in offence and in a focussed performance posted 28 points. Cameron Pearce had a good match and he finished with 10 points.

Lakers '1' 56 d Pistons 42

Lakers '1' won by 14 points and they broke the game open with a 21 point to 5 second term, They led by 23 points at the last change before Pistons won the last term 16 points to 6.

Lakers Matt Heavyside great form continued, he played aggressively and posted a game-high 21 points. Boyd Fitton played well and posted 12 points. Tom Hasting 8 points, Shane Hastings 7 points and Martin Gladwin 6 points controlled the boards.

Pistons Zac Bazzacco was in good touch and he played well posting a top score of 15 points. Ben Kelly played well and hit 14 points. Alex Schumann played effectively and hit 8 points.

Wildcats 58 d Lakers '2' 45

In a good team performance Wildcats got the premiership points posting a 13 point win over Lakers '2'.

Wildcats Matt Stock was in good form and he posted a top score of 15 points. Aydan Bartlett grabbed many boards and finished with 13 points. Daniel Stock passed well and hit 11 points. Max Scott and Ben Stock played their roles well and hit 8 points each.

Lakers Todd Seymour played with purpose and he posted a game-high 20 points. David Moffett had a good match, he rebounded well and he finished with 15 points. Paul Loughhead made good decisions with the ball.

ROUND 12 -WB 28.07.2014

Lakers '3' 60 d Pistons 49

Lakers '3' proved too strong for Pistons accounting for them by 11 points.

Lakers Tim Pinyon was in great touch and he led the way with a 28 point collect. Patrick Joncyk made good decisions with the ball and posted 12 points.Matt Wiese broke the lines, passed well and posted 6 points. Ryan Fletcher was more than useful and chippe din with 8 points.

Pistons Ben Kelly collected strong boards and he posted a top score of 19 points. Luke Reynolds played a solid match and finished with 10 points. Dylan Mason had a solid game and hit 7 points. Alex Horrocks played well from the point and finished with 5 points.

Lakers '1' 69 d Magic 42

Top team Lakers '1' kept their season rolling along nicely with a comfortable 27 point victory over fourth placed Magic.

Lakers Matt Heavysid played decisively and was hard to stop posting a 29 point haul. Matt Gladwin rebounded well, defended strongly and hit 18 points. Shane Hastings proved hard to beat on the boards and hit 17 points.

Tom Fergusson 17 points and Neil Silvestri 16 points battled hard against the odds and were the best Magic players.

Wildcats 53 d Saints 39

Wildcats got away to fine start and led 20 points to 12 at the first change and then controlled the match and ran out comfortable 14 winners. Wildcats with full compliment of players are looking ominous for the final series.

Wildcats Aydan Bartlett continues to show his worth pulling down many boards and posting a game-high 16 points. Daniel Stock played positively and passed well and hit 12 points. Matt Stock played consistently and hit 12 points. Max Scott 5 points and Tim Blair 4 points made good contributions.

For Saints Joel Lomman worked hard all match and posted a top score of 15 points. Alex Haynes played some decent ball and hit 12 points. Luke Ridley played some useful ball and finished with 6 points.

ROUND 13 - WB 4.08.2014

Lakers '3' 64 d Lakers '1' 55

Lakers '3' played a fast pace running game and accounted for Lakers '1' by 9 points. Lakers '3' hit 19 points to 9 in the second term before Lakers '1' hit back with a 12 point to 3 third term. Lakers '3' finished full of running winning the last term by 8 points.

Matt Wiese played the point guard role brilliantly, setting up many baskets and he posted a game-high 20 points. Patrick Jonzyk posted 16 points and Tom Pinyon 14 points both rebounded strongly. Lachlan Borrillo and Jesse McKinnon played their roles well.

Lakers '1' Martin Gladwin defended well, pulled down many boards and posted a top score of 19 points. Adam Wright was in good touch and he hit 16 points. Matt Parker used the ball well and scored 10 points. Jacob Zitterbart chipped in with 6 points.

Wildcats 49 d Pistons 42

Wildcats won the first quarter 14 points to 6 and were able to hold Pistons at bay every time they mounted a challenge.

Wildcats Matt Stock played consistently all game and posted a top score of 16 points. Aydan Bartlett played well inside the paint and he hit 14 points. Jordan Bohnsack was a good user of the ball and hit some nice jumpers in his 10 point collect. Max Scott played an honest game and finished with 4 points.

Pistons Ben Kelly collected many boards and posted a game-high 17 points. Luke Reynolds used the ball effectively and finished with 9 points. Alex Horrocks passed well and hit 7 points. Dylan Mason played a rock solid game and finished with 7 points.

Lakers '2' 52 d Saints 42

Lakers '2' were on their game from the outset and broke the game open early with a 19 point to 8 first term. Lakers never allowed Saints back into the game and controlled the boards and were hard to stop in the paint.

Lakers Rob Reichmann, strong board work and clean finishing was a highlight and he finished with a game-high 23 points. David Moffett competed aggressively on the baords and drove well off the elbow and finished with 15 points. Paul Loughead played well from the point, controlled the tempo of the match well and posted 5 points. Matt Zimmermann 8 points and Jesse Panuccio efforts rounded out a good team performance.

Saints had players down on form but Lakers were relentless in defence Saints were best served by Sam Dunbar who knocked down good outside jumpers in his 18 point collect and Alex Haynes worked hard and posted 15 points. 

ROUND 14 - WB 11.08.2014

Magic 55 d Saints 47

Saints began well and with good use of the ball opened up a 10 point lead at the first change over Magic. Magic won the next three quarters and finished 8 points ahead at the final siren.

Magics Tom Fergusson played 4 strong quarters of basketball, breaking the lines and posting a 29 point haul. Neil Silvestri was in good form, passed well and shot well and hit 19 points. Christian George played a strong rebounding game and chipped in with 4 points.

Saints Alex Haynes played well and led the scoring with 14 points. Joel Lomman used the ball efficiently and effectively and posted 12 points. Sam Basham played his role well on the boards and posted 9 points. Chris Mitchell played a honest game and posted 6 points.

Pistons 59 d Lakers '2' 55

Pistons won the encounter against Lakers by 4 points. Lakers gave up 20 penalty points.

Pistons Ben Kelly rebounded strongly and played well posting a top score of 22 points. Alex Horrocks set up well from the point and posted 9 points. Dylan Mason played consistently and hit 5 points.

Lakers '2' Rob Reichmann in dominant display inside the paint pocketed a game-high 26 points. Matt Zimmermann played well posting 10 points, which included a dunk. David Moffett 10 points and Todd Seymour played good matches.

Wildcats 66 d Lakers '3' 60

Wildcats won the first three terms and led by 20 points at the last change. Lakers '3' played a big last term but were held out by Wildcats and fell six points shy of victory.

Wildcats played a good team game and had a good spread of scorers. Matt Stock played well and led the scoring with 18 points. Aydan Bartlett rebounded well and hit 12 points. James Bramley 10 points and Max Scott 9 points were good contributors.

ROUND 15 -WB 18.08.2014

Saints 66 d Laker '3'  63

Saints got the points over Lakers '3' in a high scoring free flowing encounter. Saints won the first term before Lakers '3' open up a 6 point half-time lead hitting 25 -14 in the second stanza.

Saints Alex Haynes played very well and posted a top score of 17 points. Sam Basham produced strong work in the paint and hit 16 points. Sam Dunbar 15 points and Joel Lomman 14 points played important roles for the team.

Lakers Tom Pinyon played with intent and hit a game-high 21 points. Patrick Jonczyk played with good work ethic and he pocketed 15 points. Matt Wiese played well and posted 8 points. Tom Borrillo was an effective contributor and posted 5 points.

Lakers '1' 48 d Lakers '2' 42

In a tight defensive game, Lakers '1' lifted its defensive intensity in the last term and rallied late to claim the win over a determined Lakers '2' outfit.

Lakers '1' Matt Heavyside worke his way into the match and he finished with game-high 18 points. Tom Hastings and Shane Hasting performed well on the , boards and posted 10 points each. Martin Gladwin rebounded and defended well and he posted 6 points.

Lakers '2' played with strong intensity Matt Zimmermann used the efficiently and he played vey well posting a game-high 15 points, Rob Reichmann grabbed strong boards and defended staunchly and he posted 13 points. David Moffett played strong aggressive defence and he posted 9 points. Paul Loughead controlled the ball well, set up good offences. Jesse Panuccio played a consistent match.

Magic 68 d Pistons 54

Pistons won the first term and then Magic gain control in the second term and then extended their lead to 15 points at the last change. Pistons won the last term but Magic had a handy 14 point win.

Magic's Neil Silvestri was in good touch and he posted a game-high 21 points. Tom Fergusson was always a threat in offence and he knocked down 18 points. Frazer Hayward impressed, rebounding well and he posted 13 points. Cameron pearce 8 points, Christian George 6 points and Dale Cuthbert efforts rounded out a good team performance.

Pistons Zachary Bazzacco was in the zone from the outset and he palyed well posting a top score of 19 points which included 3 three pointres. Ben Kelly rebounded strongly and posted 15 points. Dylan Mason was an effective contributor and he finished with 12 points. Anthony Rowland rebounded well.

ROUND 16 - WB 25.08.2014

Lakers '2' 68 d Magic 50

Lakers '2' in recent weeks have been in good form without winning finally saluted the judge with a very good 18 point victory over Magic.

Lakers Rob Reichmann in impressive and dominant performance produced a 33 point haul and a large collection of boards. David Moffett played with strength and determination and posted 16 points. Matt Zimmermann 9 points and J.Panuccio 8 points played conistent matches. Paul Loughead was a good user of the ball and provided many assists.

Magic's Tom Fergusson played with great energy and intent and pocketed a top score of 21 points. Frazer Hayward rebounded well and posted 11 points. Cameron Pearce posted 8 points.

Lakers '1' 51 d Wildcats 45

Wildcats were up and about early and skipped to a 13 point to 2 first quarter lead. Lakers slowly arrested control of the game winning the last three terms and ran out 6 point winners.

Lakers Shane Hastings grabbed many rebounds and psoted a top score of 14 points to their best. Matt Heavyside took a while to get into the match but he played well hitting 12 points. Boyd Fitton, Adam Wright and Sam Simmons all used the ball effectively and posted 6 points each.

Wildcats Matt Stock was good from the outset and he played consistently throughout posting a game-high 21 points. Aydan Bartlett pulle down a good share of the boards and he finished with 11 points. Jordan Bohnsack and Max Scott both hit 5 points and had some good moments.

Saints 51 d Pistons 35

Saints speed out of transistion caused problems all game for Pistons and Saints won all four quarters and won by 16 points. Pistons poor defensive footwork lead to many fouls and they lost their focus late in the game.

Saints Joel Lomman was back to his early season form and he posted a game-high 20 point haul in a excellent performance. Dan Sawade was strong inside the paint, rebounding well and he posted 15 points. Alex Haynes played a good team game and he finished with 7 points. Sam Dubar posted 7 points.

Pistons Zachary Bazzacco played a rock solid game top scoring with 13 points. Ben Kelly rebounded well and hit 9 points. Luke Reynolds was a honest performer and hit 7 points.

Lakers '1' 47 d Saints 38

Lakers '1' opened up a 8 point lead by the long break. Saints defended strongly in the third term with 9 point to 2 quarter and were within a point at the last change. Lakers stepped up in the last and won by 9 points.

Lakers Matt Heavyside played a top class game and he posted a game-high 21 points. Martin Gladwin played a strong rebounding game and finished with 12 points. Tom Hastings was solid contributor and posted 7 points. Boyd Fitton was a good user of the ball.

Saints Joel Lomman played with intensity and he top scored with 15 points. Alex Haynes worked hard both ends of the court and finished with 9 points. Dan Sawade competed strongly in the paint and posted 7 points. Chris Mitchell play his role well and posted 6 points.

Lakers '2' 57 d Lakers '3' 54

Lakers '2' late season form has been excellent and they posted another win this time over second placed Lakers '3' winning by 3 points.

Rob Reichmann has been in excellent form and it continued with a 24 point haul and big collect of rebounds. David Moffett put in another consistent performance, rebounding well and hitting 14 points. Jacob Zitterbart 9 points, Jesse Panuccio 6 points and Matt Zimmermann 4 points looked after the ball well and were good team contributors.

Lakers '3' Tom Pinyon played a fantastic game delivering a game-high 31 points. Patrick Jonczyk boarded well and was a constant threat in offence scoring 16 points. Ryan Fletcher defended and rebounded well.

Lakers '1' 53 d Lakers '3' 43

In a good contest Laker '1' played 4 strong quarters of basketball and accounted for Lakers '3' by 10 points and now enter the Grand Final.

Lakers Matt Heavyside played well both ends of the court but was always dangerous in offence posting a game-high 24 points. Matt Gladwin defended well and collected many boards and finished with 9 points. Boyd Fitton played positively and effectively and Shane Hasting played well inside the paint.

Lakers '3' Tom Pinyon played a fine game, rebounded well and he posted a top score of 19 points. Patrick Jonczyk worked hard on the baords and he hit 11 points. Matt Wiese played well from the point.

Wildcats 57 d Saints 48

Wildcats outlasted Saints getting away late in the game and they booked a place in the preliminary final against Lakers '3',

Wildcats Aydan Barlett proved hard to stop, he did his best work in the keyway and produced a 26 point haul. Guards Matt Stock and Daniel Stock made strong contributions and finished with 11 points each.

Saints Alex Haynes played with great energy, defending strongly and he posted a top score of 24 points. J.Lomman played aggressively and he was a good user of the ball and posted 13 points.

In a top standard match Magic broke free late in the game and ran out solid 12 point winners. Both teams played strong defence and shared the ball well.

Magic's Airlie Fidock played well and she posted a top score of 16 points. Rachel Searle was strong in the paint and on the boards and hit 13 points. Bronwyn Nicholls defended well and played a good team game. Madi Round made good decisions with the ball all match.

Lakers Kerri-Ann Moon played a spirited match and played with strong work ethic and she posted a game-high 19 points. Rachel Zimmermann collected her share of the boards and defended well and posted 8 points. Sarah Thomas was very good defensively and intercepted many passes duriing the match.

Wildcats 55 d Magic 44

Reigning premier Wildcats have started the season well posting another good win this time over Magic by 11 points.

Wildcats tall Brooke Francis did well inside the key and played a fine match top scoring with 14 points. Kelly White competed strongly on the boards and posted 10 points. Kate Reynolds 8 points, Annie Kraft 7 points, Chelsea Walker and Katie Langmead both 6 points played consistent matches.

Magic's Airlie Fidock and Laura Jones both played well and top scored with 14 points. Madi Round used the ball effectively and posted 10 points. Zoe Greer worked hard defensively.

Saints 45 d Pistons 35

Saints won three of four quarters and posted a solid 10 point victory over Pistons.

Saints played with intent. Lucy Earl played well and top score with 12 points. Caitin Rose was in good form, rebounded well and posted 9 points. Hannah Stewart was a good user of the ball and hit 9 points. Danielle Rose was a good contributor and hit 9 points. Jane Downes rebounded well and hit 6 points.

Pistons Michelle Whitehead was a strong contributor working hard on the boards and in offence and she posted a game-high 20 points. Jess Whitehead played some useful ball and hit 6 points. Amy Doyle played a solid game from the point.

In scrappy game, where both sides turned the ball over regularly Lakers got home in a low scoring encounter by 9 points.

Lakers set up the win with a 13 point to 7 second term. Kerri-Ann Moon played with strong work ethic and played well posting a top score of 9 points. Kerri Bartley was a good contributor and posted 7 points. Lisa Morden played some useful ball and hit 6 points. Sarah White defended well.

Wildcats best was Brooke Francis who attacked the basket and she boarded well and hit a game-high 13 points. Chelsea Walker chipped in with 4 points.

Magic 51 d Saints 48

In a good standard match where Saints led at half-time 21 - 17 and then Magic rallied with a 21 to 13 third term and then they held out Saints in the last quarter to win by 3 points.

Magic's Madi Round was in excellent touch , she passed well and shot well to be Magic's best posting 17 points. Zoe Greer played a fine match at both ends of the court and hit 15 points. Laura Jones was in good form and scored 9 points. Airlie Fidock played well and posted 7 points.

Saints had a good spread of scorers, Tayla Bohnsack had a good match and top scored with 12 points. Caitlin Rose played a strong match and hit 11 points. Dani Rose played some good ball and posted 10 points. Lucy Earl finished with 8 points.

Saints 56 d Wildcats 39

Saints got away to a fine start before Wildcats won the next two quarters but Saints finished with a strong last term hitting 17 points to 5.

Saints Hannah Stewart played the point position well, shared the ball well and posted 17 points. Lucy Earl got better the longer the game went and she rebounded well and posted a tgop score of 18 points. Caitlin Rose played a very good game, defending strongly and rebounding well. Isabelle and Tayla Bohnsack were good contributors and finished with 6 points each.

Wildcats Katie Langmead was a strong and skillful worker and she posted a top score of 15 points. Brooke Francis in a consistent performance and she hit 8 points.

Lakers 70 d Pistons 28

Lakers were on top of their game and posted a big score and had a big win over Pistons winning by 42 points.

Lakers Renee Moon played a strong game both ends of the court and finished with a game-high 21 point haul. Rachel Zimmermann played well on the boards and dropped in 15 points. Lisa Morden played postive and assertive basketball and finished with 15 points. Sarah White played her usual strong defensive game and posted 10 points. Kerri Bartley's efforts rounded out a great team performance and she posted 7 points.

Pistons Michelle Whitehead collected rebounds and posted a top score of 11 points. Amy Ryan worked hard defensively and finished with 6 points.

ROUND 5 -WB 26.05.2014

Pistons 56 d Magic 36

Pistons started well and then played a big second term where they hit 18 points to 5 and set up their 20 point win over Magic.

Pistons Michelle Whitehead played a strong rebounding game and she posted a game-high 19 points. Jess Whithead played a hard running game and posted 11 points. Amanda Martin rebounded well, played the low post well and posted 8 points. Amy Doyle played well from the point and hit 4 points. Ashley Miller 8 points and Ashley Miller 6 points rounded out a team effort.

Magic's Madi Round and Airlie Fidock both were solid contributors and top scored with 8 points. Laura Jones played some useful ball and hit 7 points. Tracy O'Donnell defended hard and finished with 4 points.

Lakers 36 d Saints 36 (draw)

In hard fought contest where both sides defended strongly,  Lakers Rachel Zimmerman landed a buzzer beater 3 point shot to produce a draw with Saints.

Lakers Sarah White played a top class game and she posted a game-high 16 points. Rachel Zimmermann worked hard on the boards and finished with 7 points. Kerri Bartley posted 6 points. Renee Moon worked hard in defence and posted 4 points. Natalia Leon- Hoyos played well.

Saints Caitlin Rose played an excellent match and defended staunchly and posted a top score of 11 points. Hannah Stewart made smart decisions with the ball and posted 10 points. Lucy Earl grabbed her share of the boards and hit 6 points. Tayla and Isabelle Bohnsack and Sarah Cameron all made valuable contributions to the team.

Wildcats and Pistons both played positvely and in a hard fought clash Wildcats held a three point edge on the final siren.

Wildcats Katie Langmead controlled the ball well from the point and she played very well posting a top score of 11 points. Kelly White competed strongly in contests and on the boards and hit 8 points. Brooke Francis played well and hit 8 points. Kelly Roads played hard defence and finished with 8 points.

Pistons Michelle Whitehead worked hard in the rebounding department and played well posting a game-high 15 points. Abby Whitehead collected her share of boards and she posted 12 points.

Wildcats 51 d Magic 34

Wildcats posted a very good 17 point win over Magic in season where their appears to be no clear premiership favourite with all teams capable of defeating each other.

Wildcats Katie Langmead played a strong game from the point and she finsihed with a game-high 19 points. Kate Reynolds was good in the rebounding department, she defended well and hit 12 points. Chelsea Walker was a solid contributor with 9 points. Kelly Roads defended aggressively.

Magic's Laura Jones was a constant threat in offence and she played well posting a game-high 14 points. Zoe Greer defended grimly and she finished with 7 points. Katie Biglands played a honst game and finished with 6 points. Madi Round shared the ball well.

Pistons recored a very good 10 point victory and won all four quarters in a good contest.

Pistons Amy Doyle played well, used the ball, defended strongly and top scored with 12 points. Abby Whitehead played with good intensity and she had a good match and finished with 11 points. Jess Whitehead was in nice touch and she posted 12 points. Michelle Whitehead rebounded well and finished with 8 points.

Saints were sharp and alert early and set up their win with a 17-2 opening stanza and then controlled the game from that point and recorded a 16 point victory.

Saints Caitlin Rose played a fantastic match, rebounding strongly, defending well and she posted a game-high 20 points. Hannah Stewart set up well, passed very well and had a top match and she chipped in with 6 points. Lucy Earl rebounded well and she posted 14 points. Sarah Cameron was a consistent performer and she finished with 6 points.

Magic's Katie Biglands played in detemined and direct fashion and she played a good match top scoring with 8 points. Cathy Venning competed strongly on the boards and finished with 6 points. Airlie Fidock 6 points , Zoe Greer 5 points and Laura Jones 5 points played some useful ball.

Lakers 47 d Wildcats 23

Lakers came to play and they accounted for top team Wildcats by 24 points.

Lakers had a good spread of scorers with top scores of 11 coming from Kerr Bartley, Rachel Zimmermann and Kerri-Ann Moon who all played well. Sarah White was the architect with fine passing and great defence and she posted 8 points.

Wildcats were beaten in all four quarters and after posting big scores the last two weeks struggled in offence. Katie Langmead was the exception and she was their best and she posted a equal game-high 11 points.

Lakers won comfortably by 16 points and played tough defence restricting Pistons to 23 points.

Lakers Kerri-Ann Moon played well and led the scoring with a 13 point game. Rachel Zimmermann did a fine job rebounding well and she finished with 9 points. Kerri Bartley and Lisa Morden played their roles well and they both hit 6 points. Sarah White and Renee Moon defended staunchly rounding out a very good team performance.

Pistons Michelle Whitehead worked strongly rebounding well and she played well and top scoring with 14 points. Abby Whitehead made a solid contributiona posting 7 points.

Wildcats powered away in the second half of the game against Saints hitting 32 points to 11 and won by 23 points.

Wildcats Kelly White was in good touch and she played well posting 18 points. Katie Langmead used the ball to advantage and she posted 8 points. Brooke Francis was a honest contributor and she finished with 8 points. Chelsea Walker played a rock solid game and finished with 8 points.

Wildcats got out of the blocks quickly and were in a commanding position at quarter time leading 16 points to 3. Pistons had the better of the last three quarters but never really looked liked claiming the premiership points.

Wildcats Katie Langmead played a tremendous match where she posted a game-high 24 points. Brooke Francis grabbed her share of the baords and hit 8 points. Chelsea Walker 8 points and Kelly Roads 6 points were good contributors.

Pistons Abby Whitehead played with good intensity and she played well top scoring with 11 points. Jess Whitehead played positively and she posted 10 points. Amy Ryan had a consistent game, defended hard and posted 8 points. Amy Doyle played solid game from the point and hit 6 points.

Lakers played with strong work ethic, defended well and were more polished in offence and won convincingly by 22 points.

Lakers Sarah White led the way, she read the ball well, set up scoring opportunities and hit a game-high 12 points. Rachel Zimmermann was excellent of the boards and finished well posting 10 points. Renee Moon defended stoutly, used the ball well and hit 6 points. Kerri-Ann Moon 6 points and Kerri Bartley 5 points played well and rounded out a good team performace.

Magic's Madi Round worked hard and finished with 4 points. Rachel Searle had her moments and top scored with 6 points. Airlie Fidock finished with 5 points.

Saints and Pistons both had opportunties to secure victory but in a hard fought contest the result was a draw.

Pistons Abby Whitehead played a terrific game posting a game-high 19 points. Michelle Whitehead rebounded well and hit 11 points. Jess Whitehead 7 points and Ashley Miller 6 points had their moments.

Saints Lucy Earl played well and posted a top score of 17 points. Caitlin Rose had a good match and did a good job on the boards and finished with 15 points. Isabelle Bohnsack defended strongly and posted 6 points.

Magic 45 d Wildcats 43

Wildcats had the better of the first half but Magic played stronger the longer the game went. Magic got back quicker in defence and in a tight, even contest got the points winning by a basket.

Magic's Madi Round controlled the ball well, set up scores and posted 13 points. Rachel Searle played a strong rebounding game and hit 16 points. Tracey O'Donnell and Katie Biglands were hard workers in defence and posted 6 points each.

Wildcats withstood a late challenge and defeated top side Lakers by 2 points in high standard closing fought contest.

Wildcats shared the ball well and had all players dip in with contributions. Wildcats Brook Francis played well and led the scoring with 10 points. Point guard Katie Langemad directed play and posted 9 points. Chelsea Walker 8 points and Kelly Roads 7 points played effectively. Annie Kraft 7 points and Kate Reynolds 4 points did great jobs on the baords.

Lakers played well, Renee Moon and Sarah White both top scored with 11 points and were hard workers in defence. Kerri Bartley competed strongly on the boards and finished with 10 points. Rachel Zimmermann collected her share of boards and finished with 5 points.

In a even contest where good ball was played, Saints who trailed by 10 points early in the third term, won that quarter and then posted the winning points with 10 seconds remaining in the contest.

Saints Lucy Earl palyed a good match, posted a game-high 16 points and hit the winning fouls shots. Isabelle Bohnsack worked back quickly in defence and was a threat in offence posting 9 points. Caitlin Rose grabbed strong rebounds and posted 6 points. Sarah Cameron 5 points , Danielle Rose and Jane Downes contributed well to the team performance.

Magic spread the workload, Madi Round played the point well and top scored with 9 points. Rachel Searle rebounded well and hit 8 points. Zoe Greer played gritty defence and posted 7 points. Abby Bricknell played a solid game and hit 6 points. Katie Biglands played with good intensity.

Wildcats flew out of the blocks and led 18 points to 11 at the first change. Saints had levelled the contest by half-time and then led the three at the last change. Saints finished strongly with a 14 point to 3 final term and won by 14 points.

Saints Hannah Stewart played well from the point with good ball use and she posted 15 points. Isabelle Bohnsack's work rate was strong and she shot well hitting 13 points. Lucy Earl rebounded well and posted a top score of 20 points. Caitlin Rose played well and hit 6 points.

Wildcats Chelsea Walker played well and started well and hit 8 of her top score of 14 points in the first term. Katie Langmead played positively and hit 11 points. Kelly White 7 points and Brooke Francis 6 points played some good honest ball.

Pistons topsy-turvy season continued accounting for Lakers by 6 points.

Michelle Whithead played an excellent match, rebounding strongly and posting a game-high 22 points. Abby Whitehead played with strong intensity and hit 9 points. Amy Doyle produced good assists and Amy Ryan defended strongly and hit 4 points.

Lakers Kerri-Ann Moon played well and top scored with 9 points. Rachel Zimmermann competed well on the boards and finished with 7 points. Sarah White 6 points, Lisa Morden 6 points and Renee Moon 5 points were solid contributors.

Lakers lead at every change and defeated Saints by 9 points.

Lakers Lisa Morden played with good energy and skill and posted a game-high 18 points. Kerri-Ann Moon played stromg direct basketball and finished with 7 points. Rachael Zimmermann rebounded well and posted 7 points. Kerri Bartley 6 points, Renee Moon 4 points and Jaimi Griffen 4 points made positive contributions.

Hannah Stewart played very well from the point and she posted a top score of 13 points. Lucy Earl rebounded well and she hit 13 points. Danielle Rose 6 points and Sarah Cameron 3 points played their roles well.

Pistons dominated the last three quarters of their match against Lakers and went on to win comfortably by 27 points.

Michelle Whitehead was best on court, she controlled the boards and had real night out with a 33 point haul. Amy Dole set up well, produced good assists and finished with 7 points. Amy Ryan chipped in with 4 points and she defended well.

Magic's Zoe Greer was their best, she worked hard and finished with a top score of 8 points. Katie Biglands was aggressive in defence and Laura Jones played some useful ball and posted 5 points.

Lakers in a very dominant performance produced a strong hard running game to easily account for Magic by 41 points.

Lakers Kerri-Ann Moon played with a strong work rate and she posted a game-high 17 points. Rachel Zimmermann rebounded and defended well and hit 13 points. Lisa Morden was in good form and posted 12 points. Renee Moon and Sarah White were good defensively and hit 8 points each.

Magic were disappointing, Zoe Greer and Laura Jones top scored with 4 points each.

In a tight good standard match which had momentum swings Pistons played a better last term and won by 3 points.

Pistons Michelle Whitehead played very well, rebounded strongly and she posted a top score of 13 points. Abby Whitehead was a solid contributor posting 12 points. Amy Doyle looke after the ball well, passed well and chipped in with 4 points. Amy Ryan 6 points and Jess Whitehead 5 points played their roles well.

Saints won three of the four quarters and produced a good team game and ran out 17 point winners over Pistons.

The workload was shared well amongst the Saints team both in offence and defence.Lucy Earl hit 14 points, Hannah Stewart 13 points and Tayla Bohnsack 12 points were threats in offence. Caitlin Rose did a good job on the boards and hit 7 points. Isabelle Bohnsack defended strongly.

Pistons Michelle Whitehead worked strongly in the keyway and she posted a game-high 15 points. Abby Whitehead rebounded well and posted 10 points. Jess Whitehead 5 points and Amy Ryan 4 points were solid contributors.

Lakers '1' 43 d Wildcats 38

Lakers '1' won their way into another Grand Final with a good 5 point victory over Wildcats.

Lakers had a good spread of scorers and their defensive pressure enabled them to create Wildcat turnovers. Kerri-Ann Moon and Kerri Bartleyplayed their positions well and both posted a top score of 10 points. Sarah White defended staunchly, passed well and hit 8 points.

Wildcats Chelsea Walker was in great touch and she pocketed a game-high 17 points. Katie Langmead played a fine match from the point. Ashlyn Menz played consistently and hit 6 points.

Saints 40 d Pistons 33

Pistons played a strong first term and were in a good position at the first change.  Saints chipped away at the lead and established control in the third stanza and then held out Pistons in the final term.

Saints Lucy Earl played a good purposeful game, rebounding well and she posted a game-high 24 points. Isabelle Bohnsack set up well, ran hard in defence and hit some nice three pointers. Caitlin Rose 6 points and Sarah Cameron played well in defence. Tayla Bohsack broke the lines well and was a good contributor.

Pistons Michelle Whitehead played a strong first half, she collected may boards and top scored with 12 points. Jess Whitehead played an honest game and finished with 7 points. Amy Doyle played some decent ball.

Saints took a while to shrug off a committed Pistons team but finished strongly in the second half and recorded a 26 point win.

Saints Jake Smith played better the longer the game went and was their best and hit a game-high 16 points. Lachlan Earl rebounded and defended well and posted 14 points. Saints tall Hutton did well on the low post. Malen Brown defended well and had a good second half.

Pistons were best served by by Henry Martin who played a good all round game and top scored with 11 points. Angus Clauss and Dillon Finlay had some good moments.

ROUND 2 - WB 5.05.2014

Magic Black 49 d Pistons '1' 27

Magic Black wore down Pistons in the second half and finished full of running winnning by 22 points.

Lakers were positive in offence, defended strongly and played a fine team game and accounted for Pistons '1' by 45 points.

Lakers Jackson Elmes played with good work ethic and posted a game-high 18 points. Nick Dowling played consistently, worked hard and finished with 14 points. Jack Wade played a good match and posted 9 points. Joshua Roberts 8 points and Zac Dowling 7 points were good players. Jarrod Morden and Charlie Zitterbart played well.

Pistons had a dip, Rhett Paterson played well and he top scored with 6 points. Zack Baird and Riley Oborn both posted 4 points and they competed strongly on the boards/ Cooper Oborn played some good ball.

Wildcats played a very good second half and finished with a 16 point to 6 final term and recorded a 13 point win.

Daniel Stock played positively and skillfully finishing with a game-high 28 points to be Wildcats best. Tyler Davis played a fine match and hit 12 points. Brayden Corby played consistently and finished with 8 points.

Saints were on top their game from the outset and they posted 13-0 in the first term and then went on to post a 43 point victory.

Saints Jake Smith played a terrific match and posted a game-high 22 points. Addison Luke-Nockolds played very well, defended well and posted 17 points. Lachlan Earl posted 13 points and Corey Hutton hit 6 points and they collected many boards. Adam Styan and Daniel Smith defended stoutly and were good team players.

Lakers Jackson Elmes was their best and led the scoring with 11 points. Nick Dowling had a good first half and posted 5 points.

In a low scoring competitive contest Pistons '1' defeated Pistons '2' by 12 points. Pistons won the battle on the boards but in general field play it was a fairly even contest.

Pistons '1' Deagan Pointer played an impressive game, he controlled the boards, defended strongly and posted a game-high 19 points. Cameron Short played agrresively in defence and he had good match and hit 4 points.

Pistons '2' Kiama Morris was a good user of the ball and he played well top scoring with 5 points. Zac Baird battled manfully on the boards, used the ball well and he posted 4 points. Brayden Nicholson played a fine match and hit 4 points.

Magic Black were too strong for a tenacious Pistons '2' oufit and produced a good 30 point win. It was Pistons '2' best game for the year and they produced it against quality opposition.

Wildcats Daniel Stock was in outstanding form and in highly skilled performance he led from the front with a 56 point haul. Cameron Fox played a good match and hit 8 points. Brayden Corby posted 5 points and Bradley Lintern hit 4 points.

In good standard match Saints broke the game open in the second term and led by 9 points at half-time. Wildcats hit back and got within 3 before Saints rallied in the last term and produced a 15 point win.

Saints Jake Smith played an outstanding match, producing many assists and he posted 18 points. Lewis Ridley played very well and posted a top score of 21 points. Lachlan Earl 12 points and Corey Hutton 10 points did well on the boards. Malen Brown and Adam Styan defended strongly.

Wildcats Max Scott played very well, grabbing most of their rebounds and he posted a game-high 29 points. Daniel Stock played effectively and hit 12 points. Brayden Corby was a good contributor and chipped in with 4 points.

Lakers played a top brand of basketball and led by a point at the major break. Saints split the game open with a 20-4 third term and posted a 15 point win.

Saints Jake Smith continued his excellent form producing great team work and he posted 19 points. Lewis Ridley played with good intent and he was lively in offence posting a game-high 24 points. Lachlan Earl 10 points and Corey Hutton 8 points played strong rebounding games. Adam Styan and Malen Brown defended well.

The game was a real contest for the first three quarters with Pistons '1' leading by a point at three quarter time. Pistons '1'lifted in the last stanza and produced a good 11 point vivtory.

Will Martin and Henry Martin were in good touch and both played very well and they each posted a top score of 11 points. Cameron Short played with intent and he posted 8 points. Alex Huxtable and Angus Clauss played their roles well.

Pistons '2' Stuart Scott played a top match and he posted a game-high 15 points. Riley Oborn was a good contributor and hit 5 points. Cooper Oborn did a good job on the boards.

Donald Glazbrook played some decent ball and hit 4 points. Brodie Hastwell, Kaleb Matson and Riley Semovic played good matches.

Pistons players all competed strongly. Cooper Oborn grabbed his share of the boards and he played well top scoring with 10 points. Lachie Keach played determinedly and he posted 9 points. Stuart Scott played well from the point. Riley Oborn and Braedan Nicholson played some useful ball and they stuck to the task.

Wildcats Taylah Levy took the game on and she split the defence and posted a game-high 27 points. Kiana Sochacki looked after the ball efficiently and she chipped in with 6 points. Chelsea Levy played a solid game and she scored 4 points.

Wildcats were far too strong in all departments and easily accounted for Saints by 63 points. Wildcats pushed the ball down the floor with good speed and defended aggressively all match.

Wildcats Rhiannon Beaton played well and she played positively with her ball movement and she top scored with 20 points. Jamie Walker was tough in defence and she drove hard to the basket and posted 18 points. Mimi Allan played with strong work ethic and posted 14 points.

Saints Anais Mather was their best, she split the defence and got the ball through the Wildcats defence regularly. She defended strongly. Jenny Panozzo played a very good match and top scored with 5 points.

Saints Amber Rose played very well, took the game on and posted a top score of 12 points. Jenny Pannozzo played a strong defnesive game and she posted 6 points.

Magic's Kaya Angus lead the way, playing in decisive fashion and she posted a game-high 16 points. Lilly Morton did well on the boards and posted 10 points. Ella Konings defended staunchly and was in good in offence posting 8 points. Chloe Dowdell played a fine game and finished with 7 points. Poppy Brown, Madi Dellora and Sophie Nottage efforts rounded out a good team performance.

Wildcats set the scene early with a 18 point to nil first term and played four strong quarters of basketball and ran out 41 point winners.

Jamie Walker played skilfully and with intent and led the way with a 20 point collect. Rhiannon Beaton played strong defence and she was positive in offence and she posted 16 points. Emily McLaren played well and finished with 5 points. Mimi Allain and Bella White defended well.

Saints Rachel Styan top scored with 4 points and had good contributions from Jordan Minenko, Brianna Price and Isabel Almering.

Saints '1' played 4 strong quarters of basketball and made the most of their height advantage and posted a comfortably win against a determined Saints '1' outfit.

Cara Panuccio rebounded well and was in very good touch and she posted a game-high 28 points. Meg Earl collected strong baords, passed well and hit 18 points. Gabrielle Priddle played a consistent match and finished with 14 points. Sophie Towell 6 points and Chelsea Giles 4 points played their roles well and were good team contributors.

Vastly improved Saints '3' player Rachel Styan played well and top scored with 4 points. Jordan Minenko played a good match also top scoring with 4 points. Michelle Farr, Brianna Price and Sophie Towell all were effective contributors.

Magic Black and Wildcats in an exciting match played out a draw. Magic Black led at half-time by 7 points but Wildcats had the better of the second half.

Saints '2' played their best game for the season and produced a good win over Wildcats winning by 12 points.

Saints Jade Willmott played a dominant game she rebounded strongy and posted a game-high 21 points. Amber Rose played determinedly, defended well and posted 8 points. Anais Mather worked hard in defence and Asher Cordy hit a nice basket.

Wildcats Jamie Walker showed good leadership and worked hard and hit a top score of 11 points. Kate Thompson, Savannah Scofield and Isabella Leon played some useful ball.

Magic Black were in a good position at the main break and led 18 points to 8 and then maintained controlled in the second half and recorded a good 12 point victory.

Magic's Black Kaya Angus played well, split the defence and hit a game-high 13 points. Keeley Round played well and with decisive ball movement impacted on the game and she finished with 8 points. Poppy Brown played effectively and positively and she hit 8 points.

Magic Whites Amy Kerr played with good intensity and she was their best posting a top score of 12 points. Lana Drake played with good work ethic in defence and chipped in with 5 points. Shenae Williams played useful match.

Lakers played a very good team brand of basketball and defeated Magic by a sound 26 point margin. Sharp clean passing was a highlight.

Lakers Tanner East played some really decent ball and top scored with 10 points. Andrew Schied played well and was active on the low post and he top scored with 10 points. Will Simmons used the ball well and hit 8 points. K.Taylor played a consistent match and hit 8 points.

Magic stuck to the task well and played some fine passges of basketball. B. Jarrettt played very well and posted 4 points. Cameron Gane played well and was a hard worker and he finished with 4 points. B.Bradley and J.Kay hit nice baskets.

In a tight competitive contest where both sides were committed to playing tough defence Saints finished better in the last stanza and recorded a 7 point win over Wildcats.

Saints Alex Shierlaw worked tiredlessly on the boards and top scored with 12 points. Leon Phillips defended well and played well posting 8 points. Daniel Smith and Nick Baxter played strong games. Sam Baxter and Malcolm Worthing worked really hard on the boards.

Wildcats Josiah Clarke played a very good match and top scored with 10 points. Jesse Mansbridge rebounded well and played the low post well and he hit 7 points. Mitchell Corby used his pace well and he played well posting 5 points. James Mulhern worked hard in defence and took the game on.

Lakers got away to a flier with a 11-0 opening stanza. Lakers won each quarter and comfortably accounted for Saints by 31 points. Andrew Schied was in nice from, playing the low post well and he scored a game-high 14 points. Harrison in a spirited perormance posted 14 points. Sam Ashmore played aggressively and split the defence and finished with 10 points. Kyle Mann defended staunchly and posted 4 points.

Saints Jaxon Morgan carried a large workload on the baords and he posted 4 points. Kye Jericho continues to improve and he posted 4 points. Elijah Shepherd defended strongly and played with good work ethic and he hit a good basket.

The game was strongly contested and both teams defended hard but Saints controlled the first half offensively and held out Magic to win by 10 points

Leon Phillips defended determinedly and he made good decisions with the ball and posted 6 points. Harry Lowe played well and posted 6 points.

Sam Baxter worked the low post well, he rebounded strongly and hit 9 points. Nick Baxter defensive work was first class. Malcolm Worthing rebounded well and Flynn Aumier-Jacka had a good match. Harry Lowe played well and finishe dwith 4 points.

Wildcats Jamie Mulhern played with purpose and he was a good player top scoring with 9 points. Mitchell Corby worked hard defensively and he played well and hit 4 points. Pistons played a very good team game. Edward McIiroy played a fine match and he posted a game-high 15 points. Harry Ramke contested strongly, used the ball effectively and posted 14 points. Brodie Collins played a top game and he posted 12 points. Jack Read work rate in defence was good.

Magic players had a real dip. Blake Bradley played well and he top scored with 8 points. Joseph Black, James Goldsmith, Cameron Gane and Caleb Hashed all hit a basket and they made good contributions.

Lachlan Keach was Pistons best player in a skilful performance he posted a game-high 18 points. Ethan Spriggs played very well and hit 8 points. James Kleinig used the ball to advantage and finished with 5 points. Matt Keach and Caden Bell played good team matches.

Lakers Kai McCallum played a strong rebounding game and played with purpose and finished with 11 points. Jordan Sacaran stuck to the task and he posted 5 points. Brandon Bainbridge, Mitchell Brook and Praveen Sacaran played honest and effective basketball.

Pistons didn't have it all their way against a vastly improved Wildcats team but won by 13 points.

Pistons Lachlan Keach was on top of his game and he posted a ganm-high 15 points. James Kleinig and Matt Keach both were good team players and hit 5 points each. Ethan Spriggs and Jamar Scarvelis played good ball.

Wildcats Josiah Clarke played strong positive ball and led the scoring with 8 points. James Mulhern used his pace well and posted 7 points. Mitchell Corby and James Hurrell played solid matches.

Pistons and Saints both played strong aggressive defence and scores were locked away at three quarter time. Pistons pinched a break early in the last quarter and were able to hold out Saints by 6 points.

Pistons Stuart Scott used the ball well and produced good assists and he hit 8 points. Ethan Spriggs in a lively performance played well and top scored with 10 points.  Colby Whitbourne 6 points rebounded well and Dylan Kleinig 4 points intercepted many balls.

In a hard fought and fast paced encounter Pistons finished strongly in the closing minutes after being challenged strongly by Lakers in the final term.

Matt Keach was in great form for Pistons and in a polished performance finished with 20 points. Jamar Scarvelis played in skillful and determined fashion and finished with 11 points. Tyson Knight, Campbell Brennan and Caden Bell put in good honest performances.

Lakers Will Simmons was their best breaking the lines, passing well and he top scored with 10 points. Kai McCallum rebounded well and he also top scored with 10 points. Angus Shute was good on the boards and played a good team game. Joe Simmons was good in the contests and hit 4 points.

Wildcats won the first half and Pistons the second half and the game fittingly ended in a draw. Both teams defensive workrate was first class.

Wildcats '1' played a superior team game and they played with strong work ethic in defence and posted a 45 win over a determined Lakers '2' team.

Jhai Komar has been in top form this season and he continued with that form with a 25 point game-high game. Wildcats Noah Brown played skillfully and used the ball to advantage and finished with 14 points. Zen Atkins was up and about and played a fine match posting 8 points.

Lakers Isaiah Bahr played a good match top scoring with 10 points. Jack Zimmermann played a honest hard working match and he finished with 6 points.

Wildcats '1' 25 d Psitons 24

In a excellent contest Wildcats '1' held out a determined Pistons outfit. Wildcats were alert and played a strong focussed first half and led by 9 points at the main break. Pistons hit back in the third quarter with a 10 - 5 result. In a frantic last term when the final siren sounded Wildcats had their noses in front.

Wildcats Noah Brown played a great match, he looked after the ball well, passed well and tops cored with 9 points. Tate Walker defended stoutly and he played a strong second half and finished with 8 points. Grady Eldridge rebounded well and he had a good match and posted 4 points. Bradley Riley played his role well and he chipped in with 3 points. Zen Atkins played some decent ball.

Pistons players dropped in and out of the contest but Jamar Scarvelis competed well for four quarters and he hit 7 points. Hamish Lange played a solid game and he hit 7 points. Campbell Brennan played effectively and hit 6 point. Matt Keach had his moments and he hit 3 points.

Saints 28 d Magic Black 26

In an exciting match where Saints led by 6 points at half time and then Magic hit back in the third term with a 10 point to 2 quarter. Saints where reduced to 4 players in the final term but rallied late  and won by 2 points.

Saints Luka Phillips used the ball efficiently and played with purpose and he posted a top score of 10 points. Troy Lowe played postively and effectively and he posted  points. Cody Atkins rebounded well and hit some nice shots finishing with 10 points. Andrew Franklin passed well and defened well. Archie MacKirdy defended strongly.

Magic's Tim Greer played a strong game with good intensity in defence and he top scored with 9 points. Brayden Barr, Jesse Jarrett and Sam Bailie all posted 4 points and they were good contributors. Oliver Pitchford and Ken Angus played some decent ball.

Pistons 70 d Lakers '2' 16

Pistons played four good quarters of team basketball and accounted for determined Lakers '2' outfit by 54 points.

Pistons Jamar Scarvelis was in brilliant form, he set the scene with a great opening term and he racked up a game-high 32 points. Campbell Brennan played with purpose and he finishe with 16 points. Matt Keach got better the longer the game went and he posted 12 points. Caden Bell and Tyson Knight were rock solid contributors and hit 4 points each.

Lakers '2' Jack Zimmermann and Owen Williams gave their all against the odds and both top scored with 6 points. Isaiah Bahr worked hard and controlled the ball well and finished with 4 points. Cayden Byerlee and Issaac Scherer stucked to the task well.

Wildcats '1' 33 d Magic Black 25

Magic got away to a better start but Wildcats played a good second term and held on to win by 8 points in good standard match.

Wildcats Noah Brown was their best, he made good decisions with the ball and posted a game-high 14 points. Tate Walker was in good touch and defended hard. Jhai Komar rebounded well and was a threat in offence posting 10 points. Zen Atkins played a fine match and hit 6 points.

Magic's Jesse Jarrett played with good intent, defended staunchly and posted 9 points. Tim Greer took the game on and played well posting 8 points. Sam Bailie played a consistent match and finished with 5 points.

Wildcats '2' 50 d Lakers "1' 18

Wildcats '2' were out of blocks well and played with good enegy winning every quarter and ran out 32 point winners.

Wildcats Jay Sim played a fantastic match, rebounding strongly, passing well and he posted a game-high 16 points. Corey Steyn played a fine game and hit 11 points. Copper Kats 7 points, Hunter Hamilton 6 points and Billy McLaren 6 points all played decent games.

Lakers '1' Kai McCullum battled strongly and he was their best posting 12 points. Will Simmons played well and scored 6 points. Ryan Burrows competed strongly and worked hard in defence.

Wildcats 37 d Lakers 22

Wildcats posted a 8 point to nil second term and they opened up a 11 point lead by half-time and the controlled the game and posted a 15 point win.

Wildcats played a fine team game. James Mulhern played very well and posted a top score of 10 points. Mitchell Corby was in nice touch, used his pace well and posted 9 points. Jordan Kelton played reliably and hit 8 points.

Lakers Jordan Sacaran played with purpose and he lead the scoring with 8 points. Praveen Sacaran and Robert Robertshaw both played with good energy and hit 4 points each.

Pistons started well, Wildcats hit back in the second term before Pistons won the second half and recorded a 9 point victory.

Pistons Jamar Scarvelis was in good touch again, he split the defence and he posted a top score of 14 points. Matt Keach made good decisions with the ball and hit 10 points. Campbell Brennan was tough in the contests and he hit 5 points. Tyson Knight was a honest contributor.

Wildcats Jhai Komar worked hard on the boards and played a very good match hitting a game-high 15 points.

Lakers "1' won the first three terms and opened a 16 point lead at the last break. Saints lifted and finished powerfully hitting 17 points to 4 but they came up 3 points short.

Lakers Kai McCallum played a strong purposeful game, rebounding well and hiiting a game-high 15 points. Will Simmons played a top match and he posted 14 points. Ryan Burrows and Angus Shute played good team games.

Saints Daemon White had a good match and he posted a top score of 10 points. Andrew Franklin played his role well and he scored 8 points. Troy Low, Cody Atkins and Luka Phillips all posted 4 points and they were good contributors.

Pistons 40 d Magic White 37

The game was a real contest but large momentum swings occurred. The firt term saw Pistons lead by 2 points. Magic racked up 18 points to 6 in the second before remarkably Magic hit 15 points to nil in the third stanza. Pistons held on to win by 3 points.

Pistons Jamar Scarvelis in an outstanding performance produced a 26 point haul. Matt Keach passed well and hit 6 points. Campbell Brennan rebounded well and hit 6 points. Isaak Davis hit a nice basket.

Magic's Bill Round used the ball to advantage and posted 13 points. Jordan Pope and Will Pearce played well and posted 10 points each. Hudson Beaty and Alex Kay were good contribtors.

Wildcats 45 d Saints 29

After a tight first half where Wildcats led by 2 points, they took control of the game with an impressive 12 point to 4 third term and then ran out good 16 point winners over Saints.

Wildcats Josiah Clarke played skilfully and with intent and finished with a game-high 19 points. Jordan Kelton played a top match and hit 16 points. Wade Sweetman defended strongly. James Hurrell, James Mulhern and Jesse Mansbridge all played good defensive games.

Saints Nick Baxter was their best he defended staunchly and posted 6 points. Daniel Smith played an honest match and top scored with 8 points. Alex Shierlaw grabbed good share of the boards and he posted 5 points.

Wildcats '1' 38 d Saints 6

Wildcats played a superior running and team game and accounted for Saints to the tune of 38 points.

Wildcats Noah Brown played an excellent match and he posted a game-high 14 points. Jhai Komar played the post role well and he hit 12 points. Tate Walker played well and hit 6 points. Grady Eldridge played a consistent match and scored 4 points.

Saints stuck to the task and were best served by Luka Phillips, Cody Atkins, Troy Lowe and Andrew Franklin.

Wildcats '1' were able to hold Pistons at bay during the game but had to work really hard to defeat Pistons. 

Wildcats '1' Tate Walker played a very well and top scored with 13 points. J.Komar played well off the low post and he hit 12 points. Noah Brown was a good user of the ball and he played a top match. Grady Eldridge played his role well.

Pistons Matt Keach stepped up and show good leadership and he hit a top score of 13 points. Campbell Brennan applied stong defensive pressure and he played well in offence finishing with 10 points.

Wildcats played four good quarters and shared the ball well and ran out 28 point winners over Pistons.

Wildcats Lean Bailey played very well and with a strong work ethic and she led the scoring with 10 points. Leah Clarke made good decisions with the ball and hit 6 points. Ebony Mansbridge was in good touch and posted 6 points. Ella Moules played a consistent game and scored 6 points. Ruby Dowling contested hard and broke the lines and chipped in with 4 points. Jenna Trezise played a good match.

Pistons Shanice O'Donaghue played hard defence and she top scored with 3 points. Sienna Bottroff played well and worked hard and posted a nice basket. Monique Gorman competed strongly and hit a good basket. Illuka Bottroff played with purpose and hit a nice foul line shot. Abbi Harris, Rebecca Huxtable, Loiusa Elliot and Molly Cox made good contributions.

Saints played a excellent team game and proved far too strong for Magic winning by 38 points.

Saints Jordan Minenko played very well top scoring with 17 points. Rachel Styan played positively and was in good touch and hit 10 points. Michelle Farr made smart decisions with the ball and posted 7 points. Kaylee Jenner defended well. 

ROUND 4 - WB 19.05.2014

Magic 57 d Pistons 12

Magic won by a 45 points but Pistons put in a much improved effort and posted 12 points. Magic shared the ball well and had good contributions from all their players.

Magic's Keeley Round played an excellent match and she posted a game -high 27 points. Elouise Perry did a good job on the boards and she posted points. Charlotte Durward played a good honest match and hit 6 points. Jordan Perry played well and in determined fashion.

Pistons Abbi Harris played well top scoring with 6 points. Shanice O'Donaghue had a real dip, defended hard and hit a nice basket. Rebecca Huxtable played a good match and hit a good basket. Monique Gorman worked hard and play some good ball.

Saints '2' 16 d Pistons 4

Saints '2' had a good win over Pistons in a hard fought and often congested contest where both teams played strong defence.

Summer Ford-Wilson did a great job on the boards , defended well and she top scored with 8 points. Olivia Davis show good leadership, broke the lines and finished with 6 points. Taya Forbes played well and hit a good basket. Elizabeth Shepherd, Bella Marson, Piper Hudson and Samara Sadler all played good team games.

Pistons Abbi Harris and Ella Brinkworth played positively and well and both hit good baskets. Shanice O'Donaghuepayed well and defended strongly. Rebecca Huxtable, Illuka and Sienna Bottroff and Molly Cox were hard working players and they all played some decent ball.

Saints '1' 72 d Pistons  2

Saints played a fine running team game and were able to account for Pistons comfortably.

Saints Jordan Minenko was in excellent touch and produced a game-high 30 points. Michelle Farr played her usual good team game sharing the ball well and she posted 16 points. Rachel Styan played a good match. Dehlia played a strong defensive game.

Pistons Shanice O'Donaghue competed strongly and defended aggressively and she top scored with 2 points. Abbi Harris and Ella Brinkworth consistently gave a contest.

Wildcats 36 d Pistons 5

Wildcats were sharp from the outset and played four good quarters of basketball and posted a 31 point victory over Pistons.

Wildcats Leah Bailey played with determination and skill and in a impressive performance posted a game-high 22 points. Ebony Mansbridge was in good form and she posted 6 points. Ella Moules and Ruby Dowling played consistently and both hit 4 points. Leah Clarke passed well and Elly Garrett played a solid match.

Pistons Ella Brinkworth worked hard in defence, she rebounded well and top scored with 4 points. Rebecca Huxtable played a good match and hit 2 points. Abbi Harris and Seinna Bottroff were hard workers in defence.

Saints '1' played 4 strong quarters of team basketball and comfortably accounted for Wildcats.

Saints Jordan Minenko defended hard, broke the lines and posted a game-high 24 points. Michelle Farr was a good user of the ball and defended strongly and hit 6 points. Jenny Panozzo played determinedly and she posted 7 points.  Rachel Styan played well and hit 5 points. Kaylee Jenner defended well and hit 4 points. Nikola Currie 4 points and Delia Althorp 2 points both had good matches.

Wildcats Leah Bailey played with strong work ethic and she played well top scoring with 5 points. Ebony Mainsbridge and Elly Garrett both were useful contributors and posted 2 points each. Ruby Dowling, Leah Clarke and Ella Moules all competed strongly.

Magic played with skill and produced a great brand of team basketball and comfortably accounted for Saints by 30 points.

Magic Keeley Round led from the front, shared the ball well and posted a game-high 14 points. Eloiuse Perry rebounded well and posted 8 points. Hallie Round was a good contributor and hit 6 points. Charlotte Durward, Jasmine Sommerville and Leah Meinel all played good team games and each hit a nice basket.

Saints were outclassed but battled hard but lacked execution in passing and finishing. Elizabeth Shepherd was their best, she defended staunchly and broke the lines in offence. Olivia Davis and Holly Priddle played some useful ball and hit nice baskets.

Saints '1' played a great team game and proved too strong for Saints '2' winning by 37 points.

Saints "1' Jordan Minenko played with pace and precision and was their best with a 23 point collect. Rachel Styan good season form continued and she hit 8 points. Kaylee Jenner defended stoutly and she chipped in with 5 points. Jenny Panozzo, Nikola Currie and Delia Althorp all were good team players and made good contributions to the outcome of the match.

Saints '1' players all worked really hard in defence. Summer Ford Wilson and Olivia Davis showed good leadership. Piper Hudson, Taya Forbes, Elizabeth Shepherd, Samara Sadler and Bella Marson competed strongly and defended staunchly.

Wildcats 26 d Saints '2' 9

Wildcats played a really good match and ran away with the game with a 13 point to nil final term against Saints '2'.

Wildcats in a even team performance best player was Leah Bailey, who defended stoutly and passed well and hit 5 points. Ella Moules has shown much improvement rebounded well and scored 8 points. Ebony Mansbridge played a good match and posted 7 points. Leah Clarke 4 points, Ruby Dowling, Elly Grant and Jenna Trezise were solid contributors.

Saints worked hard, Olivia Davis played well, using the ball well and she top scored with 4 points. Taya Forbes hit a nice basket and defended well and agressively. Summer Ford-Wilson rebounded welland hit 3 points. Piper Hudson, Elizabeth Shepherd, Bella Marson and Samara Sadler all competed hard in defence.

Magic played 4 consistent quarters against Pistons and ran out 31 point winners.

Magic produced a good team game and as a result the scoring was shared well. Leah Meinel had a great match and played with purpose and she posted a top score of 8 points. Vastly improved Charlotte Durward played very well and hit 6 points. Jordan Perry defended determinedly and she scored 6 points. Keeley Round produced many assists and finished with 4 points. Jasmine Sommerville was in good touch and hit 5 points.

Pistons Ella Brinkworth competed well and played with a strong work rate and she hit a good basket. Shanice O'Donaghue worked strongly in defence and she shot a nice basket. Abbi harris was committed in defence and Rebecca Huxtable played some good ball.

Saints '2' played a very good team game and accounted for Pistons by 33 points.

Olivia Davis led from the front , she produced some good assists and posted 12 points. Summer Ford-Wilson played a great match, she rebounded strongly, defended well and hit a game-high 25 points. Piper Hudson played a fine match, defending strongly. Samara Sadler competed strongly and hit 4 points. Bella Marson used the ball well and defended well.

Pistons were good after quarter-time. Illuka Botroff played a great match to p scoring with 6 points. Sienna Botroff did well in the contests and finished with 4 points. Ella Brinkworth worked hard on the boards and Abbi Harris played some useul ball.

Saints '1' played a very good team game and accounted for Pistons by 40 points.

Saints Jenny Panozzo had a great match and played with purpose and posted a game-high 18 points. Michelle Farr made good decisions with the ball and hit 16 points. Rachel Styan playe dthe low post well and hit 8 points. Kaylee Jenner defended strongly and posted 5 points.

Saints '1' played a fine team game, they passed well and shot well and easily acccounted for Saints '1'.

Saints Jordan Minenko played determinedly and skilfully and finished with a game-high 18 points. Rachel Styan played very well and posted 8 points. Jenny Panozzo was in good touch and hit 8 points. Michelle Farr played effectively and efficiently and she scored 6 points. Nicole Currie 6 points and Kaylee Jenner 3 points were good players.

Saints '2' were best served by hard working Elizabeth Shepherd who defended vigourously, Summer Ford-Wilson collected many boards and Olivia Davis hit a good basket.

ROUND 18  - WB 8.09.2014

Saints 46 d Magic 31

Saints got out to a 24 point lead before Magic rallied late and reduced the final margin to 15 point at the final siren.

Saints Jordan Minenko played a very good match and posted a game-high 20 points. Kaylee Jenner was a hard worker in defence and she also posted 8 points. Michelle Farr passed well and played well.  

Magic's Keeley Round competed strongly in all areas and she was their best posting a top score of 16 points. Eloiuse Perry did fine job on the boards and finished with 6 points.
