Flames Sign Maddie Allen for Womens SBL 2018
Rockingham Flames are pleased to announce the signing of superstar Maddie Allen for the 2018 SBL season. Maddies credentials are phenomenal, and the coaching staff are eager to get under way.
"Maddie’s just a massive signing for us. Our system really needs an elite big who can put heat on the rim in pick and roll situations, and can help free up our guards with all the 3’s we like to shoot. To have a post threat with speed and agility suits our game perfectly, just as Garbin and Cannon gave us between 2012-2016.
Defensively she’s an elite shot blocker which we’ve never really had, to have someone who can protect the rim is something we’re really looking forward to. To get a big with WNBL and D1 experience is huge; I cannot wait to get started with her."

Maddie is a player who possesses vast experience despite her young age. She has spent time at two Division 1 Colleges, named in the Opals squad, played State League in SEABL and QBL, and had her first year in the WNBL last season
A graduate of Santa Clara University in the strong West Coast Conference, Maddie has aspirations to further her professional career goals.
