Flames Sign D'Lesha Lloyd for Womens SBL 2018

The Rockingham Flames WSBL side is pleased to announce their second restricted player signing for 2018, with D’Lesha Lloyd agreeing to terms earlier this week.

The 5’11 guard from the University of Clemson, currently playing in Romania’s top league against Taneisha Harrison, and is currently putting up 18.6ppg at an impressive 50% from inside the 3pt line, and over 42% from 3pt land.

“We are desperate to play as close to positionless basketball as we can in 2018 as we did in ‘14 and ‘15, and adding Lloyd to Harrison gives us that” head coach Ryan Petrik said.

“Everything you’ve seen of Harrison, Lloyd can do. Everything Lloyd can do, so can Harrison. Both are offensive animals; both can shoot it, floor it, and back down smaller guards. Both are their teams marquee players on their respective teams in Romania, to get them on the same court in the same uniform should be pretty entertaining to watch”.
