Congratulations Sarah & Gemma Wright
Hume City Championship Women’s team players, Gemma and Sarah Wright, have been selected again to represent Victoria at this year’s School Sport Australia Nationals. The Championships will be held in the second week of August at the Dandenong Stadium. This will be the third successive year that the girls have made the squad, which is a feat in itself. At last year’s carnival, held in Canberra, both girls were selected in the All Australian squad and went on to represent Australia in a tour of the USA held in November. They will again team up with Championship Coach Joe Borg, in this his second season as Head Coach of the School Sport Victoria team.
