With the Worksafe AFL Victoria Country Championships getting closer and closer, the Bendigo Bank Maryborough Castlemaine District Football Netball League are pleased to announce the coaches for its 2014 Netball Interleague squads.
Natte Bealiba’s Ingrid Hopkins will again be in charge of the Open side after leading them to victory in the 2013 Worksafe AFL Victoria Country Championships against the Picola & District FNL.
Dunolly’s Ashlee Lierich and Natte Bealiba’s Ashlee McClelland will coach the MCDFNL’s 17 & Under interleague squad for 2014, continuing on with the great job they did coaching the girls at the Central Highlands Regional State League tournament this past summer.
Natte Bealiba’s Kylie Mortlock will take the reigns of the 15 & Under squad, with first-time coach Sophie McQuienn from Dunolly to coach the 13 & Under squad.
All MCDFNL netball interleague sides will be in action at the 2014 Worksafe AFL Victoria Country Championships on Saturday 24th May, with the Open and 17 & Under sides taking on the Geelong & District FNL, and the 15 & Under and 13 & Under sides likely to be playing against the Ballarat FNL. The Junior sides will also feature in a number of other “carnivals” throughout the year, including the Netball Victoria Western Zone Association and Ballarat & District Junior Carnival in June and the Maryborough Netball Association tournament later in the year.
Tryouts for all 2014 MCDFNL interleague netball squads are being held this Sunday 4th May at 4:00pm at the Maryborough Netball Complex, Carrick Street, Maryborough
