The assembled squad will be extremely familiar with each other’s game style, with seven of the eight players selected being a part of the league’s Regional State League netball campaign over the summer, with only long-time MCDFNL representative Jess Parry, who has been playing in the Victorian Netball League with the ACU Sovereigns, not a part of the RSL squad.
The MCDFNL will also have a 17 & Under team play against the Ballarat FNL at the Worksafe AFL Victoria Country Championships, with details of this squad set to be announced in the coming week as they are still going through the trial stage at the time of writing.
The team is scheduled to have two final training runs in the lead-up to the Worksafe AFL Victoria Country Championships, with the team being presented with their Interleague dresses at the MCDFNL’s Jumper Presentation Night on Thursday May 21st at the Maryborough Highland Society
