Gates Open: 6:30am
Parking: All parking (disabled parking included) inside and outside the ground will be available on a first come, first served basis. There will be no reserved spots available. There will be limited car parks available inside the ground on Grand Final day due to space available and most cars will be directed to park outside the ground. Please be aware of this and prepare to have to park somewhere outside the venue. Patrons must be aware that parking officers will be duty this weekend and that it is illegal to park in a bus zone, a no standing zone or anywhere that cars would not normally be allowed to park.
Disabled Parking: The MCDFNL will cordon off an area between the Princes Park Grand Stand & Public Toilets at the Hockey Oval entrance (main gates) for disabled parking spots. Only cars with disabled parking stickers will be allowed to park in this area. These spots will be available on a first come, first served basis and spots will not be reserved.
Cars Parked in Ground Before Sunday: Parking inside the reserve is strictly prohibited prior to Sunday morning. Any car that tries to park inside the venue before Sunday morning will be towed and all costs incurred will be at the expense of the vehicle owner. All cars must be out of the reserve by 5pm on Friday night.
Pass Outs: If patrons are leaving the Grand Final venue and wish to return at any stage throughout the day, pass out stamps are available at the gate.
Records: A special A4 edition of the MCDFNL record will be released for the Grand Final and shall cost $5.
Alcohol at MCDFNL Senior Finals:
Patrons are reminded that no alcohol is permitted to be brought into any MCDFNL Finals venue. The MCDFNL has employed Security Guards for the Grand Final this year, and they will have the power to search cars at the gates – cars that refuse a “search” will be refused admission.
Supporters found with smuggled alcohol will be evicted from the ground.
- NO alcohol to be brought into Finals Venues
- Anyone found in possession of alcohol that has been brought into Finals Venues will be evicted immediately
- All people and vehicles entering the ground may be subject to a search
- Intoxicated people will not be served alcohol
- It is an offence to supply alcohol to an intoxicated person
