Trentham Football and Netball Club have bolstered their rosters across the board ahead of the Maryborough Castlemaine District Football Netball season.
The footballers will see five new faces as well as two familiar faces return to its line-up.
Neville Purtell, Rowan Prentice, Jeremy Steen, Tim Buby and Matt Layfield will wear the Trentham colours for the first time while James Cann and Joh Murphy are back after a year interstate.
Clayton Scoble will lead the charge for a fourth straight season.
Last season Trentham finished in eight position which is something they look to improve on.
Scoble is hopeful his team can lift their performance to make the top six and take part in finals action.
Jake Keogh is one of several young players who have stepped up from the under 17 and a half competition, but was a regular in last years senior team.
He will play a big part this year.
Another young gun to watch is Robbie Byrne.
As the season, fast approaches Scoble is unsure of who will be the top team come season end but thought any team could win it on their day.
In the netball, Erin Richardson, will embark on her second season in charge.
Jane ODonohue has returned from injury, and will add to what is already a cohesive senior unit.
The A grade didn’t lose any players over the offseason however some of their lower tear players have left to further their studies.

Richardson said the club had unfinished business.
Sharna Ford combing with Hayley Bourke look to a be a key partnership to Trentham’s success.
