Friday Night
Game 1(U21) – Flames won game 1 verses Belize Bank, setting up a win or go home game for Belize Bank this Friday. Flames dominated game 1 with their size and dominance in the paint. Hydro has already advanced to the U21 Finals, as they await the winner of this series.
Game 2(O35) – In the Over 35 division, Hydro defeated Mega Foods in game 1, so this is a must win game for Mega Foods, who have not lost 2 games in a row all season. This game promises to be very entertaining, as these 2 San Ignacio based teams share a friendly rivalry.
Game 3(Seniors) – In the Senior division, Hydro E-3 will try to sweep the series over Shell, and remain as the only undefeated team in this year’s BECOL tournament. However, in game 1 Hydro E-3 won by only 2 points, and they are faced with injuries on their front line.
Saturday Night
Game 1(O35) – In the U18 division, the #4 seed, Benque Eagles shocked the #1 seed Golden Boys in game 1, handing them their first loss of the season, as they scraped by with a 1 point victory. Golden Boys will be looking to exact revenge on the guys from Benque, who has the services of Akeem Watters, a member of the U17 Belize National Teams.
Game 2(O35) – In the Senior Division, Western Warriors and the defending champs, BNE Oilers, are locked into a 1 – 1 tie, forcing the first game 3 in the BECOL Playoffs. The winner of this game will advance to the Finals for the senior division, as two great teams will lock horns for bragging rights.
