Adelaide City Council Active Ambassador Sports Awards
As part of the City of Adelaide’s 175th Anniversary celebrations, 2015 will see the inaugural Active Ambassador Sports Awards.
The Awards will recognise and celebrate people who have encouraged, inspired and enabled people in the City of Adelaide to get involved in sport and those with inspiring sporting success.
Nominations are open now and close on 30th April 2015. Adelaide City Council are looking for nominations for achievements and contributions made between 1st January 2014 -31st December 2014, so if you have been involved in the Active Ambassador Program within that period, there are two categories that may be applicable:
Active Ambassador Event of the Year
For an event associated with the Active Ambassador Program and held in the City of Adelaide that can truly be considered to have achieved a high standard of excellence.
The Active Ambassador Contribution to Physical Activity Award
For an individual or group that has made a significant difference in the City of Adelaide through demonstrating the positive impact physical activity can have on people’s lives.
