FFV NOTICE: All fixtures clash free for remainder of 2016 season

FOOTBALL Federation Victoria can now confirm that all league fixtures for the following GRFC leagues are clash free for the remainder of the 2016 season: Senior Men's, Men's Masters (over 35s), Senior Women's, Junior Boys and Junior Girls.

We ask all club members to recheck their fixtures from this weekend onwards.

With the exception of fixtures that are postponed or abandoned (due to reasons beyond the control of clubs), all fixtures will remain unchanged for the remainder of the season. FFV has also reassessed any existing fixture preferences sent by clubs, including but not limited to Friday night fixtures.

In the event there is a clash still showing at your respective venue and you have not received communication from a member of the FFV Competitions team, please write to: competitions@ffv.org.au immediately.

Teams that wish to request a change of fixture must do so in strict accordance with the following Rule of Competition:

4.7.2. a. Fixture Date/Time Change Requests

FFV will consider fixture changes if the request is received no less than 14 days prior to the fixture with written consent provided to FFV by Club Officials of both Clubs. Exemptions may be granted for Rounds 1-3 (and 4-5 for Leagues which have been subject to regrading).

As such all clubs looking to make a fixture change are to follow the appropriate process:

- Both clubs to send an email with an agreed change 14 days prior to the fixture

- If you do not have anything from the opposition to agree, it is best practice to send an email 3 weeks before so that FFV can forward the request onto the opposition

We thank all clubs and their members for their understanding and patience during this busy period.

Good luck to all clubs for the remainder of the season!

Regards,

FFV Competitions

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
