NEWS: FFV announces fixture details of 2017 Geelong Region Finals' Series
FOOTBALL Federation Victoria (FFV) has confirmed the full details of the Week 1 fixtures for the 2017 Geelong Region Finals Series. The FFV has already announced that Geelong Soccer Club (Stead Park) will be hosting Week 2 (Grand Final weekend) of the Finals Series.

All Geelong Region leagues will play in a top four finals series across the two weeks with the format set out as below:
Week 1 – Friday 15 to Sunday 17 September
• Semi-Final #1 – 1st vs 4th (hosted by 1st-placed team)
• Semi-Final #2 – 2nd vs 3rd (hosted by 2nd-placed team)
Week 2 – Saturday 23 to Sunday 24 September
• Grand Final – Winner Semi-Final #1 vs Winner Semi-Final #2 (hosted at Stead Park)
In Week 1, Match Official fees will be split between the competing teams of each fixture, and will be invoiced for these fees via the FFV’s Club Finance System.
In Week 2, FFV will cover the Match Official fees. Clubs do not need to pay Match Officials on the day of these fixtures.
All clubs taking part in this year’s Finals’ Series are asked to read through the Participating Team Guide (see link below) for more information in relation to finals. Teams yet to submit their Player Eligibility Roster must also complete this before the weekend.
