SOCCER: Goulburn Valley Suns are holding an information session tonight for women soccer players at Congupna town hall at 7 pm.

The Suns hope to enter women’s teams in the National Premier Leagues Victoria competitions to be held next year .

While Football Federation Victoria has not settled on a final competition structure, the club has been informed it will have to field teams in all age groups to be able to participate.

At present, those age groups are under-13, under-15, under-17 and open women’s.

Each team must have a minimum of 16 players.

Players and parents will be able to access information about training schedules, costs and commitments on the night, which will Suns’ technical director Pat Kielty and Suns’ senior coach David Davkovski will attend.
