League administration benefits from web

Future executives of North Eastern Soccer League and its member clubs will benefit from a onestop shop for administrative services as part of a streamlined approach initiated by the current hierarchy.
As of this season, the league will boast an integrated website featuring results, photo galleries and player registration capabilities and the ability to process all club administrative information.
The website incorporates SportzVault, ResultsVault and Sportnet, Football Federation Victoria's online registration process.
"The major benefit is the clubs will be able to record their match results online . . . stats, details, players played, goals scored," league consultant Trevor McKerrow said.
"This means instant results after the match because it will be a requirement of the clubs to put their results on the site."
McKerrow said the website would allow the league to easily input content, plus provide the opportunity for each club to develop its own website.
The concept is widely used within cricket associations.
McKerrow said the automation of all administration services would make life easier long term.
"The FFV this year made it compulsory for all clubs to register players via Sportnet," he said.
"This year they will have to add all the players, but next year it is just a click to re-register them."
The league website is currently at temporary location http://nesl.sportzvault.com but will soon revert to www.nesl.com.au
The league's season kicks of on April 22.
