Ryan Re-Signs with the Wolfpack for 2023

The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the return of All NBL1 First Team, and current Perth Lynx WNBL player Robbi Ryan for the 2023 NBL1 West season.

Robbi came to Australia after an impressive college career with the Arizona State Sun Devils. Starting in 103 games and finishing with a career 1127 points on 103 made 3-pointers, The 5’9” guard from Wyoming received First-team honours for her conference in 2018 and 2020.

In her first NBL1 season, Robbi showcased her incredible ability to impact every facet of the game. With high efficiency scoring and quick handles, Robbi set the league on fire averaging 20.1 points a game on 50% shooting accuracy and 42.6% from 3-point range during the 2022 NBL1 season.

Robbi was named to the All NBL1 First team, alongside teammate Teige Morrell and took home the ‘Golden Hands’ award for a league leading Assist, steal to turnover ratio. Robbi has put the basketball scene on notice, signing with the Perth Lynx in August of this year for the 2022/23 WNBL season.

When asked about her signing for the upcoming NBL1 season, Robbi said:

“I’m looking forward to rejoining the Wolves in 2023 and to build on what we accomplished last season. It is a great organization and even better community to be a part of.”

2022 NBL1 Women’s Head Coach of the Year Marcus Wong had this to say about Robbi’s signing:

“It is great to have Robbi back with the Wolves for next season, she is not only a quality player but a quality individual as well. She has a great ability to play out of Pick and Roll actions and stretches the floor from 3-point range. She had a fantastic season last year which was unfortunately hampered by a late injury, and I am excited to see what she can bring after playing in the WNBL for a season with the Lynx.”

We are excited to have Robbi run with The Pack again this upcoming season, joining fellow All NBL1 First Team member Teige Morrell and Nesaya Parker-Williams.
