Wedderburn has created history in the North Central Football League with a one point win in extra time over Charlton at Wycheproof. Wedderburn are the first side in the North Central Football League to win four premierships in a row. Their opposition on the day Charlton probably deserved to be crowned the winners on the day but the scoreboard favoured Wedderburn after extra time was played.more

Second Semi Final Review

Wedderburn has won through to their fourth straight North Central Grand Final with a convincing39-point win over Charlton. The Navy Blues now have the task of winning next week’s Preliminary Final against St Arnaud at Birchip to get through to their second grand final in as many years.more

Round 19 Summary

Thrilling end to Season 2014, Charlton defeated Wedderburn, Donald looked a real chance against Wyche/Narraport, before going down, and Boort and Birchip/Watchem couldn't be separated.more

Round 16 Review

In near perfect conditions for Footy, the top three sides collected another 4 points each, and extended the gap to their nearest rivals. St Arnaud and Birchip/Watchem staged the closest match, with a 26 point final margin. Charlton led Boort all day to get up by 32 points, whilst at Wyche, the Demons couldn't hold onto their half time lead over Wedderburn, to be defeated by six goals.more

Round 15 Review

Round 15 saw the top three sides, in Wedderburn, Charlton and St Arnaud cement their place in the top three spots on the ladder. Wedderburn are clear on top, three games ahead of Charlton and St Arnaud, who are in turn 3 games ahead of Birchip/Watchem and Boort. In winning, the Redbacks, Navies and Saints managed over 20 goals each, with the Saints v Magpies game being the closest, at 28 ptsmore

Round 14 Review

Birchip/Watchem has returned to the top 4 after a hard fought win over Wyche/Narraport. St Arnaud got the points over Donald, when they easily defeated the Royal Blues at Lord Nelson Park, and Wedderburn had little trouble in accounting for the Magpies at Donaldson Park, with leading Goalkicker Sam Barnes adding 8 to his tally, to take him to 73 goals for the Season.more

Round 12 Review

Birchip/Watchem, after a convincing win over boort, have now entered the NCFL top 4, for the first time since 2012. Boort have a chance to regain that spot next week against the Demons, but then face the top 3 in the following 3 weeks. The Redbacks have returned to the winners list after a 26 point win in the Woosang Challenge. Donald fell short of the Demons, after looking the goods early.more

Round 11 Review

St Arnaud was supreme in their defeat of the reigning premiers leading at all changes and virtually controlling the game all day. In windy conditions at Charlton, the Navy Blues got home over a determined Demons outfit by fourteen points. This win puts Charlton within four points of ladder leader Wedderburn who they play next week. Birchip-Watchem led all day to record a 27pt victory over Donaldmore

Round 10 Review

Round ten produced some close results with, Charlton’s last quarter got them home against the Bulls, Wyche/Narra controlled most the game before the Saints stepped up in the last quarter, and the Magpies had to work hard all day to secure their win over a much improved Donaldmore

Wycheproof-Narraport 50 Year Celebrations

Wycheproof and Narraport Football Clubs will conduct fifty year celebrations of the two clubs amalgamation in 1964.
The celebrations will run from 6th June through to the 8th June 2014 and anyone wishing to gain further details can go to
