KINSMAN JUNIOR BASKETBALL CLINICS

The 2015/16 Junior Lakers representative squads and coaches are invited to participate in a series of basketball skills sessions to be conducted by Dean Kinsman, one of Australia’s best coaches of junior basketballers. The sessions will be held on Friday September 4th, Saturday September 5th and Sunday September 6th at the Bern Bruning Basketball Stadium.

This fantastic opportunity has been made possible by the generous assistance from the IGA Community Chest.

Kinsman is currently Head Coach of the Rowville Secondary College Basketball Program, which is conducted in the multi-million dollar Sports Precinct designed and built under his watchful eye.

He was the first SA Country Basketball Development Officer, is a former Head Coach of the Women’s Program at the Australian Institute of Sport and the national Junior Women’s team, the Gems.

Dean ranks as one of the best in the field of coaching juniors, especially in the area of mastering basic skills and their implementation in games. He builds his teachings on the edict that the better the skills of juniors the more they enjoy the game and as a result become better players.

All quad members and Coaches are expected to please attend.
