It's a big change from roaring around Queensland raceway, but a week is a long time in Motorsport. After screaming around the tight turns up north, Tony returned home this week to prepare for racing of a different kind- Billy Cart Racing.
Though he'll be restricted to support duties, Tony will be cheering on the competitors at this year's Weetbix Billy Cart Grand Prix in Mooroolbark this Sunday.
Featuring 3000 people, the popular event welcomes plenty of competitors, their family and friends for what is exciting racing, albeit just a tad slower than the Team Bottle-O Commodore.
The 2008 Grand Prix featured 85 teams and more than 750 competitors, all showcasing their Billy Carts and striving to be the first past the chequered flag.
I'm looking forward to getting along and supporting all the teams again, they really work hard to prepare their Carts, and always put on a good show." said Tony
"I'm probably not used to sitting on the other side of the fence and watching people race by me, but on this occasion it might be a bit safe," he adds with a laugh.
To join in all the fun of the Weetbix Billy Cart Grand Prix and meet Tony, race along to Edinburgh Primary School this Sunday (August 30) from 12.30pm.
