BAIRNSDALE FOOTBALL NETBALL CLUB INC.
Statement of Purposes
The purposes of the association are:
(1) To promote the games of Australian Rules Football and Netball in East Gippsland and the broader community.
(2) To provide a safe, supportive and community based environment that encourages skill development, fitness, fair play and teamwork.
(3) To establish an administration committed to implementing best practice in all areas of governance.
(4) To continue to develop infrastructure and facilities to be used in aiding the association achieving its purposes, and for the use of the broader community.
(5) To encourage its members to strive for improvement and success both on the playing field and in their personal development.
Attaining Purposes:
Subject always to the provisions contained in the Act, the association shall do all things that are necessary and required for the attainment of its purposes, including but not limited to:
(1) To acquire, hold, deal with and dispose of any real or personal property
(2) To open and operate bank accounts
(3) To invest money in any security in which trust moneys may be invested or in any other manner authorised by these rules.
(4) To borrow money on such terms as the association thinks fit
(5) To give such security for the discharge of liabilities incurred by the association as tha association thinks fit.
(6) To employ, appoint or engage employees, agents or contractors to transact any of the business of the association for reward or otherwise.
(7) To build construct alter repair and maintain any building or other structures of any kind and to furnish equip and improve the same for use by the association.
(8) To accept any sponsorship, donations and gifts, and to provide gifts and prizes in accordance with the association's purposes.
(9) To enter in to any contract the association considers necessary or desirable.
(10) To affiliate with other associations having like purposes
(11) To do all other things as are necessary for the attainment of the purposes and exercise of the powers of the association.
