The Avoca Football Netball Club would like to inform our membership that due to the unfortunate delay in the building works to the clubrooms at the Avoca Public Park, our Round 3 game against Navarre will now be played at Navarre on Saturday 4th May.
It is an unfortunate situation that the works have been delayed and as a consequence the club will now miss out on two early home games in the season, however a positive view is that these home games will now be played at home later in the season.
We ask that everyone please be patient and understanding as we work through the difficult logistical problems that have arisen from the building site delays which are out of our control, but the finished product will be worth the wait.
The club will now play five of our last six games at home which will be a bonus for all of our players and supporters, and should also make for a lively social calendar to finish off the home and away season.
We now look forward to our first hitout against Dunolly on Sunday 21st April at Deledio Reserve which is also the day which the Bulldogs and the Eagles battle for the Annual Geoff Calder Memorial Cup, which our club has held since its inception, and we are very eager to keep in our possession.
Go Dogs!
