2016 Season Begins - January 21

Yes, it's another big season ahead for the mighty Rams. be a part of the fun and tell your friends. Training commences on Thursday January 21 at Greygums Oval, Greygums Rd, Cranebrook starting at 6:30 PM sharp. Then again the following Thursday Jan 28 after which we will train Tuesdays and Thursdays. A few free drinks and tucker will be provided at the end with some information. Be there !more

Pre-Season Commences Wednesday November 18

Pre-season training begins on Wednesday November 18 at Greygums from 6:15 PM.All new and returning players are encouraged to attend. Head Coach Kevin Kirk with be running the session focussed on catching up, having a kick and giving information regarding the 2016 season. A free BBQ will follow. Make sure you get down there. Laffan Takes Out Walker Medal

In a wonderful official end to the 2015 AFL Sydney season, Matthew Laffan was awarded the Michael Walker Medal for Best & Fairest at the 35th Annual Presentation Night held at the Gaels Club on Saturday evening October 17more

Rams Presentation Night-Gaels Club Saturday October 17

Tickets are now available for the Penrith Rams Presentation Night and Michael Walker Medal for 2015. The gala event including a three course meal will be held on Saturday Oct 17 at The Gaels Club, Corner Glebe Place & Phillip Street, Kingswood in the function room . Tickets just $60 each and need to be purchased in advance. All senior teams, Under 19's and Ramettes Awards will be presented.more

Dancing With The Stars - Ramettes Special Edition

One game left for Penrith Rams this season and it's the "Big Dance" for the Ramettes as they play Gosford Wildcats in the Grand Final on Saturday at 9 AM at Blacktown International SportsPark. The largest Western Sydney club is extremely proud to have had all five teams in finals this year and the mighty girls side will be intent on bringing home the silverware. More on next page.more

Josh And when it comes to September, we want your to remember, the Rams will be there too" And they are, four teams remain in line for September glory. On Saturday, the Ramettes are in line for their first grand final when they play Auburn at Henson Park. All Five in Finals - Aug 29/30-Updated Team Selections

Penrith Rams achieved a fantastic feat with the only Sydney club with multiple teams to have all their teams competing in the BLK Sydney AFL finals series. On Saturday, Reserves play the qualifying final at BISP. A big day on Sunday with Firsts, Thirds and the Ramettes playing elimination finals. Get around them this weekend. Round 18 + Finals + Photos

A busy weekend for the Rams. On Saturday at Greygums Oval, Reserves kick off at midday against Nor-West whilst Firsts take on Camden at 2:10 PM. Team photos will be taken prior to the matches. On Sunday at BISP, the Ramettes play Blacktown on #2 at 10 AM and Thirds play Uni NSW/ES at 3:30 PM on #1 ground. Photo's will also be taken. Under 19's received have a forfeit win. Round 17 - August 15

Five games on Saturday, all away. Reserve grade take on East Coast at Kanebridge at 10 AM, Thirds head to Mahoney park for their final home and away clash against Balmain, whilst at Rosedale Oval, the Ramettes kick off at 11 AM, followed by the 19's at 1 PM and First Grade at 3 PM, all games being against Moorebank Magpies. Round 16 - August 8-9 - 5 at Home-Updated Selections

A huge weekend of footy at Greygums with all five teams in finals contention. On Saturday, it's the 19's (V Southern Power), Ramettes and First Grade (V Manly) whilst on Sunday both Reserves and Thirds take on Sydney University. Final team selections on next page.more

Three catchup games today, with the Under 19s pushing Parramatta right to the brink, the Ramettes recording an awesome win against Auburn and Reserves never really in trouble against Balmain.more

Wet Weather Catch Up Games - Saturday August 1

Three "catch up" games at Greygums Oval on Saturday. At 10:30, Under 19's take on ladder leaders Holroyd-Parramatta, at 12:30 PM, the Ramettes play Auburn, also leading the competition whilst the 2:30 games sees Reserve Grade play Balmain. Interim team selections on next page.more

Round 15 - Saturday July 25

Better weather conditions this week look like ensuring a full round of football will be played on Saturday. Whilst reserve Grade are playing away at Picken Oval against Wests, the day at Greygums commences at 8:30 with Third Grade playing Camden, followed by Under 19's against Pennant Hills, Ramettes playing UNSW/ES and the First Grade game at 2:30 V North Shore. Training Thursday July 16 Cancelled

Greygums closed for training tonight. Needing to keep it playable for the weekend's five games. Please notify coaches if you are available or not on either or both games. Meanwhile, duck into O'Donoghues tonight for final instructions and a $10 steak or snitty.more

With the 19s having the bye, Third Grade took on Randwick at Pioneers, the Ramettes played Auburn at Mona Park and Senior Grade played Blacktown at ISP2.

Four games, four venues this wekend with the Under 19's having the bye. Div 5 head to Pioneers Park on Saturday to play Randwick, The Ramettes play ladder leaders Auburn at Mona Park, First grade at BISP V Blacktown whilst on Sunday Div 3 clash with Balmain at Henson Park. OPSM- Looking to the Future

Penrith Rams are very excited to announce that they have been selected as a recipient of the OPSM "Sports Vision for Clubs" programme. The grant, being one of a handful selected from almost 400 clubs Australia wide, includes cash and footballs which will assist the club tremendously this season. OPSM will also conduct free screenings at the ground during the season. Full story next page.more

Braydo Serves Aces

Local former Emu Plains Lion and current Penrith Rams player, Brayden Wilson, was the hero with at Adelaide Oval on Anzac Day in front of 30,000 fans, kicking the winning goal with 10 seconds left on the clock. "Braydo" was playing for the ADF in their annual clash against ACES (Australian Combined Emergency Services) Full story next page.more
