Panton Hill CFA will be hosting a concert to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Ash Wednesday bush fires.
The concert will be held at the Firefighters Memorial Park in Panton Hill on Saturday, February 16, 2013. (Flier Attached.)
This is a FREE event for the whole family to enjoy. In commemorating the 30th anniversary, Daryl Braithwaite will be headlining the event, with local Blues outfit Black Cat Bone and Kisschasy front man Darren Cordeux supporting with an acoustic set. There will also be face painting and roaming performers to entertain the kids as well as a wide range of food vendors, beer, wine and refreshments for sale.
The event will begin with a memorial service which will commence at 4.30pm, followed by the concert itself which will start at 5.15pm. The Firefighters Memorial Park in Panton Hill is located on the corner of Merrits rd and Bishops rd, Panton Hill. Bishops road will be closed to traffic from 2pm until 10pm. There will be parking available in and around the event. For further information, please email info@PantonHillCFA.com.au
This is an important Panton Hill Community event that I would encourage everyone to come along and support.
