Basketball ACT offers community Clubs the option to participate in its competitions, with facilities, referees, administration and insurance cover provided by BACT, Clubs are required to register each team that participates to pay for these services. The following fees per player enable the Ginninderra Rats to register each team in BACT competitions for an entire season.  

The Rats Fundraising Levy is a compulosry contribution. These funds are used to pay for hire of training halls. So when calculating the fees you need to pay for each child, please sum the team/age group fee, whether or not the chlld is playing in a Premier team, and the Rats Fundraising levy.

Payment of Fees:

The full season fee must be paid at the time of registration. All players must be registered to have their place in a team confirmed. Unregistered players will not be able to take to the court at BACT competitions.  

If you owe money to the Club from a prior season you will need to pay any outstanding fees in full before registration for next season will be accepted.

Please note:  Ginninderra Rats is obliged by BACT to use the Sporting Pulse credit card facility. Sporting Pulse levies a 3.9% surcharge on the use of its credit card facility.  

Equity of Access

The Ginninderra Rats is committed to providing equity of access to basketball for all children.  If you need to discuss an arrangement for periodic payment of the season's fees please complete the periodic payment plan below and email a signed copy to the Treasuer on treasurer@ginninderrarats.com.au

Refunds

When a player registers to play for a season with the Ginninderra Rats, they agree to play and to pay for the season's duration  The only grounds on which a refund will be considered is injury or prolonged illness that causes a player to be unable to participate for 5 or more games.  For more details see the Club's Refund Policy below.
