Men’s Health Awareness program brought to you by
Upwey Tecoma Football Netball Club, in conjunction with AFL Vic, The EJ Whitten Foundation, and the Kinetica Group
You are invited to a very special evening this Thursday night 25th August at the Social rooms, with the focus on a campaign for gaining a better understanding of Men’s Health.
The evening is FREE, meals are supplied at the very reasonable cost of $10.00
The .Meals will be available from 7.30pm, the players will be in the rooms at 8pm, we aim to start formal proceedings at 8.15pm, with everything over and done with at 9pm.
It will be a casual and relaxed evening but with a strong focus;
- The objective will be to get men to better understand their health, and take control of their health.
- Former player Glenn Findlay is a Partner at Kinetica Group and Glenn will run the night.
- Barry Besanko – CEO of the E J Whitten Foundation is the keynote speaker.
- One of our Clubs Life Members, and former Reserves Premiership coach, Dennis Fuller will talk about his health issues over the past 2 years.
- A nurse will be present and all men attending will be “actively encouraged” to have their blood pressure checked.

We encourage all men of all ages to attend. Wives, partners and girlfriends you are welcome to attend, but at the least please insist that the men in your life do get down.
Please spread the word to all of your older mates from the Club and try to get a big number of the important men & mates in your life to attend !
