HONORARY LIFE MEMBERS
Rule 4c of the Constitution of the Noosa Australian Football Club Inc states that ….
“Honorary Life Membership may be granted at the discretion of the Board to persons who, in the opinion of the Board, have rendered conspicuous service to the Club over a period of not less than ten (10) years.
This year the club has granted three Honorary Life Members.
Julian Pitts
Pittsy, the 27th Life Member, joined the Tigers in 1992. He played for three seasons before moving south to play, then rejoined the Tigers in 1996, playing until 2004. During this time he played 144 games with the Tigers, was the leading goal kicker four times - in 1992 (65 goals), 2000 (53), 2001 (29) and 2003 (41).
Pittsy was a member of the 1997 Premiership winning team and coached the Under 18s to a premiership in 2002.
Ashley Trompf
Ashley. Life Member 28, joined the Tigers in 1992. Trompfy was Captain Coach for seasons 1992 and 1993 and Leading Goal Kicker in 1994 (53). Off the field Asley was President in 1996 and again in 2010 and 2011 and was an important member of the building committee for the new clubhouse.
Tony Fitzpatrick
Tony, who is the 29th Life Member, joined the Noosa Tigers in 1993 and played until 1999, notching 82 games.
He captained the Noosa Tigers in 1996, represented the Tigers in Representative football, coached junior teams for 6 years, was junior coaching co-ordinator in 2010 - 2011, and was a driving force behind the construction of the new clubhouse.
