Name/nickname: Jason Cotsis – “jay”, “Cotsis”, “skip”, “pops”. I’ve been called a few things.
Number/Position: Senior Coach
Chaddy Debut: 1992. Although it’s difficult to be sure because official records only go back so far.
Recruited from: Murrumbeena
Favorite Movie: Depends on the moment. At the moment Rush.
Favorite TV Show: A tie between Family Guy and the UK version of The Office.
Best Chaddy Memory: 2001 Flags. Actually the celebration afterwards.
The Synner I look up to the most: Jointly Peter Kostakos and The Binghams. To do what they do for so long without much fanfare is a credit to them.
I like this club because: I don’t like this club, I love this club. And love makes you do some strange things. Like come back.
Who is my hero: Prince Harry. Form an orderly queue ladies.
Favorite Sportsman of all time: Ayrton Senna or Pele, because he knows it. Nothing wrong with a bit of confidence.
AFL team Supported: Carlton.
Least favourite AFL club: Hawthorn. Just so beige.
AFL player you compare yourself to or best describes you: Tony Liberatore. Annoying little prick.
Three people alive or dead you would have for dinner: If by “have for dinner” you mean “have to dinner”, I’d say Ricky Gervais, Billy Connolly, Richard Branson. Hopefully we can use his island for dinner.
Favorite quote: This is easy and anyone who knows me knows the answer: “IT’S GREAT TO BE ALIVE!”
Anything else: Outdoors is good. Footy, golf, waterskiing, travelling, I enjoy most people’s company, even the ones I need to tolerate.
Never sit for too long.
Except at the bar.
