Information for New Players
The Diamond Creek Basketball Club (CREEKERS) provides the opportunity to play basketballfrom ages 6 to 20 within the Diamond Valley Basketball Association (DVBA) - Junior Domestic Competition. The competition consists of age groups for Girls and Boys from Under 8's through to Under 21's.
The competition is divided into two seasons each year. The Autumn season runs late January/February to June; the Spring season runs July to December. Age groups are under 8’s, 10's, 12's, 14's, 16's, 18's and 21’s. To be eligible for an age group the player must not have turned or be turning that age within that seasons cutoff date. Autumn cutoff date is June 30 and Spring Season cut off dates is 31 December.
Teams play a weekly competition match, with girls in under 14,16 and 19 playing after school on weeknights and girls in Under 8,10 ands 12 and boys playing Saturdays.

Training is conducted on weeknights at Community Bank Stadium in Diamond Creek and usually runs 45 to 60 minutes once per week. Typically the girls train on a Monday and the boys train on a Tuesday. This may vary depending on coach availability.
If you would like to register once a season has commenced it is recommended that you contact the Boy's and / or Girl's Coordinator, as applicable, to determine if vacancies exist. Contact details for coordinators are available on our web page.
All players are required to register on line seasonally. Registered players will be placed into teams in accordance with the Club's team selection policy. Registration details are available on our web page.
Uniforms will need to be ordered promptly once registered to avoid delay in availability for season start. Contact details for purchase of our uniform and merchandise are available on our web page.
PLEASE NOTE: Registration Costs include ALL Regular Season Game Fees. This is a ONCE OFF payment for the full season!
