A GRADE
After a much more cohesive and uninterrupted warm-up the Hillies girls took the court more prepared then the week before. After some defensive and goaling changes the Hillies went about putting the goals on the board and breaking away from Huntly to take out the win. Well done girls. Final Scores: HILLIES 61 DEF HUNTLY 38
Incentives: Zenda McConnell – Drink Voucher & Jacinta Louttit – 2E Fitness
A RESERVE
The A Res girls had a successful day taking the win over Huntly. With our height dominating both ends of the court and some smart passing, accurate goaling and tough defense, the girls controlled the game from start to finish. Well done girls.
Final scores: HILLIES 55 DEF HUNTLY 36
Incentives Erin Jackson – Drink Voucher & Lorrinda Webb – 2E Fitness
B GRADE
Always a close encounter with the Huntly girls, but today was the Hillies day who took the 4 points for the day with tight defense who rebounded well, strong drives by the midcourt and working the ball into the goal circle to take the best shots. A great team effort. FINAL SCORES: HILLIES 45 DEF HUNTLY 42
INCENTIVES: Sue Atherton – Drink Voucher & Melissa Harrington – 2E Fitness
C GRADE
On Saturday our c graders came up against some tough opposition in Huntly. From the very start the girls fought hard, but unfortunately gave away too many turnovers to close the gap. Let's get back on the winners list this week girls!
FINAL SCORES: HILLIES 20 DEF BY HUNTLY 42
INCENTIVES: Sasha Martin and Courtney Hicks-Hobgen
D GRADE
Another hard fought game against a much taller opposition in Huntly. We stuck with them until the half time break, but a few turnovers and drop of heads let the lead go against us. On a positive note, we know we can stay in touch with the top teams, it’s just a matter of working hard for a full 4 quarters on netball & encouraging our team mates
FINAL SCORES: HILLIES 14 DEF BY HUNTLY 18
INCENTIVES: Amy & Alex
PRIMARY D
The girls worked on their footwork this week at training, which was just as well, because the wet court made it hard to stop when you wanted to. Isabelle had a great game in goals, helping her team mates good court work pay off and Dylin had a fantastic last quarter in WA, picking up many loose balls and moving them on safely to the other attackers
Incentives: Isabelle Gattsche & Dylin Coulson.
A big Thankyou and Well done to Casey, Lynsey and Alicia for their organisation of Pub Golf Function last weekend – everyone had a great night so well done on your efforts!
