After this date, the netball executive and 2012 junior coaches will meet to review the list of interested junior players to decide if junior selections are required and also if there are places for new players.
WHFNC Netball Annual General Meeting
Proposed for Tuesday 24th January 2012 – 6pm at the Social Rooms, White Hills Oval. This will be confirmed.
If you are selected in the Senior Squad attendance at the AGM is compulsory. Attendance is also compulsory for junior player registration, with an update on what’s happening with junior selections and the commencement of training.
A condition of taking up a playing position in our senior squad is that you will participate actively in our club. Whilst it can be daunting to take a role, I’m sure if you ask those that have currently or those that have in previous seasons that it is actually very rewarding. You will learn new skills and confidence, work with people you may not normally have had much to do with and ultimately know that you have contributed to making our club the great place it is to be.
There are a number of roles with differing levels of responsibility that you can take on so we have listed them below. We strongly encourage junior parents/guardians to take roles so that our committees are well balanced – I ask that you please think about this.
President , Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Committee Members (3), League Delegates (3) + 1 Emergency Delegate, Junior Netball Co-ordinator, Senior Player’s Advocate, Publicity Officer, Duty Supervisor, Umpires Co-ordinator, Property Steward, Merchandise & Uniform Co-ordinator, Junior Netball Clinic Committee (5), Social Committee – is jointly with representatives from the football, Netball Fundraising Committee, Netball Trip Away Committee (Senior) – (this is optional on top of taking on another role).
