VCL stars U-Nite at AAMI Park
As part of the celebrations for Melbourne Victory’s U-NITE Day, a team of Horn of Africa immigrants, U-NITE FC took on a VCL All Star team as a curtain raiser to the Melbourne Victory vs. Sydney FC Hyundai A-League match on Australia Day.
The VCL All Stars were made up of U17 players from each of the 12 Victorian Champions League zones, the two sides battled it out on AAMI Park’s perfect surface, with U-NITE coming out on top 2-0.
George Fry was the proud representative for the South East Cougars standing in goal.
