Kick off mid-October

•Finish up mid-December
•No Championship Series!
•Metro & Regional Gala Round to ensure can play all games in 9 weeks
•Play each other once
•2 Teams per age group from Wimmera South Coast
–One based in Geelong, one based in Ballarat
•No changes to structure of League Tables
–Will still include technical & respect points, as well as points for win/draw
•Gold Medal Presentation
–Working on being at A League fixture again

Age Groups
–Under 13, 14, 15 & 17 Boys
–Under 13, 15, 17 Girls
–Allowance for 6 overage girls in U17s
–Allowance for 3 overage boys (U20s) in U17s
–MUST have 6 U14 eligible girls in U15s

 

League Tables

–Allocation of additional ‘points’ to League Tables as per last year
–Technical Points
–Respect/Fair Play Points
–Periodic allocations with timing still TBC
–‘Mystery Shopper’ approach
–Focus therefore on rewarding behaviours:
•National Coaching Curriculum
•Appropriate on-field and coach/support staff/spectator behaviours

 

MyFootballClub

Each player lodged for approval on the VCL Player Roster must self-register via MyFootballClub in order to be eligible for competition
―All players must also upload their photo via MyFootballClub throughout the self-registration process for an ID Card
―ID Cards will be extracted from a MyFootballClub report for approved players with their photo enclosed for Match Day
―Club Fees need to be submitted to the FFV MyFootballClub Team by 5:00pm Wednesday, September 26th 2012. Fees will be uploaded onto MyFootballClub for players to self-register against. Players can then print a system-generated invoice for use by the VCL Zone Club
―FFV will provide player self-registration guides to VCL Clubs for distribution
Automatically generated player registration invoice – Players can bring it to the club and finalise payment
Benefits of self registration
•Easily extractable player ID cards for Match Days
•Readily available reports with player contact information
•Close to 66% of 53,000 plus players self-registered for the 2012 Outdoor Season
•Less deadlines, more flexibility – FFV here to assist your club with player self-registration

 

Competition overview:
•9 match weekends
•12 matches played total – one bye per team
•Metro & Regional gala round rounds
•Gala rounds have multiple teams at each venue, and participants will play in more than one match over that weekend


Competition dates:
•Start – Weekend of 20/21 October
•Last Round – Weekend of 15/16 December
•No competition after Christmas
•No catch up rounds scheduled
–Any catch up requirements will be addressed on a case-by-case perspective and may be played mid-week, as a double-header on a weekend, or if agreed, the weekend immediately prior to Christmas following the conclusion of the season
