The Club supported the St John's Care Winter Appeal through the initiative of player Nikolai Morozow.
The senior playing group raised $300 to assist with the appeal along with food and clothing donated by the Club. Members of the group delivered the donated goods last night.

“It is a great initiative for the players to be a part of and personally I appreciate them helping out with a cause I believe we should be supporting each year. St John's Care do a lot of work within our community and the boys were more than happy to help out when I asked” said Morozow.
“Little things like this go a long way in supporting the wider community outside of the Club and for the players to get behind one of their teammates and support such a cause is fantastic to see. As a Club we provide a lot of financial support to other local sporting clubs and organisations but to donate food and clothing to those need is really important especially during the chilly months of winter” said Football Manager Stephen Soulsby.
