Eastlake Football Club is pleased to announce Dan Ryall will continue in his role as First Grade Coach for the 2017 season.
Despite an up and down season in 2016, the young Demons have shown vast improvement in 2016 with the Club looking for Ryall to continue that development in the 2017 season following his first season as Coach.
“No doubt this season has been challenging, but credit to the playing group in sticking together and we have seen plenty of positive signs amongst the group throughout the season. It is important that as group we continue to build on what we have into the 2017 season especially given some of the talent we have coming through our ranks” said Ryall.
“We have a very young group in terms of experience however in saying that we will need to give a more consistent effort if we are going to challenge the likes of Ainslie and Queanbeyan next year. I am really excited with the group of players we have between 17 and 22 years of age and the next 2-3 seasons will provide us with plenty of excitement to come” he further added.
“Dan has been fantastic over the course the 2016 season and we cannot fault his endeavor and commitment to the Club. He has developed a core group of players over the 2016 season that we can continue to build upon for 2017” said Football Manager Stephen Soulsby.
“He has provided a number of opportunities for some of our juniors to come through and play senior footy whilst continuing to work through the challenges that 2016 has thrown up. We have no doubts the work he has done this season will see the group flourish under his guidance next season” Soulsby added.
