Friday Night! - v. Plympton at Fitzroy - Under 18' s - 7.00PM
Saturday - v. Central United at Fitzroy - Reserves - 12.15, A's - 2.15
That's right, our Under 18' s are kicking off this round with a Friday night game under lights !
So if you're not heading to Adelaide Oval, come down to watch our future stars in action and we'll have the Crows v Hawks game on the TV.
And we're back at home on Saturday as well to take on Central United.
We need to make up for last week's results - A's lost 11.07 to 16.12, Reserves lost 9.08 to 13.09 against Blackfriars OS and Under 18' s went down to Henley 2.02 to 16.12.
It's time to make a stand as a club and get back to basics - everyone at training, train hard, play smart and be disciplined !!
New recruit for Div 6R - Michael Doube.. ended up with a broken ankle after a great start, the smallest feet the trainers had ever seen...
**** From The Bounce******
On the back of its upset victory over
Fitzroy, Central United has emerged
as the third side vying for fifth position.
Fitzroy held a 38 point advantage
at quarter time but could
only produce another 2 goals for the
remainder of the match as the Bulldogs
ran rampant piling on 13 of
their own. It was a golden opportunity
gone begging for the Lions, who
needed to win to remain in touch
with Lockleys. As a result, the Demons
have opened up a two match
buffer in fifth position after easily
accounting for lowly Angle Vale. The
outcome was never in doubt as the
Owls continue to battle through their
horror season.
