At the club's annual presentation day, Daniel Andrews pledged $300,000 to upgrade the club’s pavilion at Columbia Reserve. This would fund improvements to the change rooms and toilet facilities, along with general refurbishments to the rooms that were built in the mid-1970s.
The refurbishment would provide new amenities that would be both junior and female friendly, and the funds would go a long way towards the club being able to continue to attract more boys and girls to our great game. The club feels this is a great initiative and is grateful for the commitment made by Daniel Andrews.
The funding is conditional upon the Labor Party winning the November 29 State Election and receiving additional financial support from the City of Monash.
