Rally round the Heat - Free Entry to Barlow Park this weekend

In celebration of the First Home Game for the Sony Playstation 4 NPL season, the AQUIS FNQ FC Heat are offering FREE ENTRY to Barlow Park for all this coming Saturday.  Hoping to secure their second win for the season and retain their first position on the ladder, they are calling for football fans far and wide to come to the match and rally around their NPL Club.

With an action packed schedule starting at 8.30am, local junior teams will play agains the six Heat Academy teams prior to the big match between AQUIS FNQ FC Heat and Sunshine Coast FC, which kicks off at 6.30pm.

Colin Daly, Chairman of AQUIS FNQ FC Heat says that this is a unique opportunity for the region to see what football is all about as well as meeting our local NPL Stars.

“We decided to celebrate the fantastic sport that football is and open our doors for our first home game for the season. For people who love the sport and those that just want to see what football is all about I urge you to come down to Barlow Park and watch our club in action.  This is our first home game for the season for our National Premier League Team  and it would be great to see a huge crowd supporting us as we tackle the Sunshine Coast.”

The AQUIS FNQ FC Heat Premier team won against FC Olympic last week in Brisbane and are  looking for their second win for the year.  The Heat have a good playing record against the Sunshine Coast FC drawing on game and winning the second last year 3 - 2.

It is also the first home game for the season and first home game for Captain Jamie Carroll and Head Coach Tim Campbell

Tim Campbell “Preparations are under way for the first home game.  The final training session will be at Barlow Park on Thursday and the squad will be named following the session.  This will be a different challenge than the game against Olympic for the Heat with Sunshine Coast playing a very direct style of football that puts other teams under pressure.  The Heat are planning to continue with their attacking style and hope to carry their form into the game’
